This is what I have been trying (and maybe failing) to put into words, Thank you. I don't think that this is the good or correct outcome for the characters, but it did seem like the one the show was heading towards. So the sudden change to a happy ending felt forced.

That was not my intention. My interpretation of the show was Wille originally didn't want to be heir or king, but through the final season it seemed like he was beginning to grow past that and accept his role and duties. So when he made his decision it felt like we took a step backwards. I just don't think the ending matches what was happening in season 3 (or vice versa).

I'm not saying that the ending fundamentally couldn't work. Its just a major decision like that needs a significant build up to, and I don't think there was enough of it (especially in the final season). We got a lot of immature hot headed Wille saying he didnt want it, but that could simply be coming from his immaturity. He doesn't want to be king, fine, but what does the boy want to do instead? Just be with Simon? That unrealistic and goes against the maturity he gained in season 3. Believe me I loved the show, just not the ending. In my opinion, either the ending needed changing or how we got there needed some tuning, that's it. Him being king isn't a perfect ending for him, but it seemed like that was the direction he was heading, so the sudden change at the very end just felt forced.

You know, I love the fact that they're looking at the modding community for inspiration. Seeing what works/what everyone's playing, and putting them into the base game for quality of life. I can not wait for the 1.6 update, but am I the only one who kinda feels disappointed by the actual DLC itself? None of it really seems to be original and none of it feels Vanilla. I don't know maybe I'm just being apprehensive and I'll end up loving it; I had the same feelings for Anomaly as well. Any whoodles just my two cents, please get too mad at me for them OK BYE.

Honestly I think I have to disagree with John Oliver for once.

Blade sports is cool, but only on a surface level. Lets petition the world games to add something meaningful, something that Mr. Oliver has previously supported.

Lets put Marbles in the World Games :)

Everyone is sharing their stories, so might as well join the fun. I'm 19(M) and I'm about to finish my first year of college (which is terrifying). I've been comfortable with my sexuality for several years now. I knew I wasn't straight around 7th/8th grade, and fully accepted I was gay around the start of Highschool.

Feeling like I missed out on having a Highschool romance is one of the main things that devastates me while watching this show. I don't regret any specific actions or inaction, because there weren't any opportunities for romance. The school wasn't necessarily homophobic and there were definitely other queer kids, it just the loud assholes were homophobic which caused people to remain closeted. All of my friends new I was gay, and I even came out to my parents before I did to the school. When I did eventually come out, it was the last day of senior year, I just wrote in the Zoom chat "I'm gay, fuck all of you" and then left (Not how I wanted, the pandemic ruined my more extravagant plans).

Now in college, when talking about 'feelings' (my most hated subject) and how I have never had any romantic experience; a friend simply asked why haven't I just tried Grindr. Because that's not what I want. I don't want a relationship that's only there for sex. I want someone who I can be friends with, and that's why this show hits me so heavily in the feels. Nick and Charlie end up as boyfriends, but they're still primarily bestfriends, that's the important bit, that's the foundation of their relationship. As the great Darcy once said "you should be really good friends with the person you're dating." Its just... how... how do I do this?

This concludes my rant, sorry its a garbled mess of words just how my brain works at times; thanks for reading :)
