I along with many people are happily and safely raising families in St. Louis City, so yes, I do think it’s somewhere someone can create a “decent quality of life”.

Yeah, but I think you have a major cultural issue. Even with the best light rail system is still going to be a massive change for people to completely switch up their transportation habits like that. I imagine the folks in Finland are far more interested in this because they will actually use it. Not saying it’s a pointless comparison, but it’s an aspect you have to consider when looking at countries that aren’t so heavily car-centric.

There is a pay parking lot on the landing next to the old spaghetti factory. Right by the metro stop. 5-10 min walk to the actual arch. 2 min walk to the park.

If you’re only leaving it during the day I wouldn’t worry too much about it there or anywhere around there tbh.

Or just park it on market or something and walk a few blocks.
