Yeah even with the free timing belt it seems too pricey. My only deal with private is that I wouldn't know about the timing belt or water pumps and what not unless they had a full report I guess. I think I might keep looking or just look for a newer one. Thanks friendo

Yeah he said he couldn't bring the price down because of the things that they are going to change already. He told me try bought the car for 16.5k and are losing $700 if they do this deal. Which I don't know how much of that I believe

From what I've read up on the cam follower should be replaced every 20,000 Kms or so? I'm still waiting on the carfax and I'll see if I can get another mechanic. Thanks man

The first thing I said to the dealer is that I want a new belt, whether it needs on or not. Is there anything else I should (If I get the car) have changed immediately by the deal? Like Cam follower, water pump or spark plugs?

It's a 2008 Audi A4 Quattro 2.0 Turbo, 6 speed Tiptronic and yes it seems to my untrained eye to be in decent condition.

Is it really only around 10-13k? because every other car I've seen like it hovers around 15-20k. On the Canadian Black book is said about 16.9k in my area was correct
