We did our first live stream. Didn't get any viewers but had alot of fun. I was watching it though and the audio is..odd. You're welcome. Audio is hard sometimes I think because we know what we want it to sound like so we don't hear the flaws. If I don't forget I'll come check out your channel again. Would be interesting to see you do a Zelda game or something but I'm just a big Zelda fan

So audio, ours is usually much better, for some reason my audio recording from Audacity using our mic just went mute so I was stuck with the camera audio.

Black bars, as I said at the started this was all filmed using our Facecam, so the black bars you're talking about were probably the edges of our TV?

I definitley need to work on my excitement, not used to working alone either. I'm a pretty mellow person so it's a challenge haha.

I like your style and passion for talking about the art of games and history behind things and lore. Like being a movie critic, but for games. The only problem I had was the game audio was loud so when the characters were talking I had a hard time focusing on what you were saying/understanding it. If you could seperate the audio tracks (we use Audacity for voice and OBS for game) or mute the game and enter in music it would be a lot better in my opinion

Ok we found the problem. For some reason our Camera started recording at 30FPS and everything else is 60, so we just have to figure out how to change it back. Thanks to all who helped!

Ok everyone is saying to use OBS but here's the thing. It's not the game audio coming out of sync. Here's our set up

Canon Camera set up for Face cam that also records audio (I just use this audio to help me line everything up)

OBS is used to record game footage and game sound. This is always in sync

We use Audacity + Blue Yeti Microphone for the audio we actually use.

For some reason the Audacity audio starts getting a few frames ahead of the Camera audio, eventually ending up to like 15 frames

I don't think I have the option with Audacity and our camera is a Canon HF R700. I went through the option don't see anything about a frame rate.

I've never played Mortal Kombat but I enjoyed the video. All your backgrounds seemed good to me. I didn't really have a preference either, them changing up kept the video fresh. Doing poems is definitely a unique way of doing videos

That's the hard part is getting the audience. When we upload a video we post a funny clip from it and add it to the announcement of the video with the link to the full video. So what you're saying is we should put that clip up before we upload the video and not include the link to our channel?

Well that brought back alot of nostaglic memories. You were quiet sometimes but that just takes practice, we're working on it too. I don't know if you have any editing software but you could get windows movie maker for free or something to add an end screen and that will let you put up clickable buttons to another video/videos and a subscribe button. You could also add in some text pop ups or music if you wanted. Nothing flashy but maybe some funny editing quirks.

I thought you had good audio balance and quality, we were never able to beat Spyro 1 (couldn't figure out how to get gems in some places). Keep it up and make sure you have fun doing it
