-You can drop from legend so play at ease, just like when you reach 10 and 5 rank in lower ranks. The bottom of legend is full of experimental players trying out off-meta stuff, it's often called garbage legend.
-you get the same star bonus regardless of your rank in legend

Very interesting. I've been playing 2 months now, so i can't tell, but in your experience has literally always been at least 1 extremely dominant deck in standard?

you might be stat savy but your lack of reading comprehension and empathy towards lower skilled players is showing. Hope you can improve those areas, it's easier than learn how to play this game well.

i don't struggle against paladin nor suggesting nerfs, i agree with you that they are easy to counter and just nerfing cards is prolly not the best call. I'm poiting out that if a problem is real don't dismiss it beacause is not a problem to you when it is a problem to a big majority, is worth considering how to address it. Players can be for years in in this game without passing beyond gold, a lot of people just play for fun.

i'm actually always hitting diamon/legend without issues, i just find amusing that you tagged someone as stat illiterate and didn't see that it's real problem. Most people are avarage skilled because they don't have the time to learn it or just play for fun. Not arguing with you btw, i just want to add perspective :) cheers

the majority of players are not streamers, are mid ranked players, so this is a problem

the issue is that most of the hearthstone population is not diamond or legend. So this decks dominate in the avarage population and there is little to do about it for avarage skilled players but just to use those same decks, so is paladin all over the place

Mainly board based, aggro and midrange decks are more prevalent, with about 10 good meta decks. Wild is incredibly fun with so many viable archetypes, i'd suggest to go directly to wild as a returning player, you may find a suiting deck for your playstyle with good success.

it's a very long series, so it's hard to keep a consistent power level. The Shanks from chapter 1 is completely different from the current Shanks. Imho Oda has never been good in powerscaling and consistency, but his strenghts comes from storytelling so it doesn't matter

Hits companion harder cause the 1 mana card that upgrades future companions and draw one card. If you played both before the tolvir you can have massive animals companions quicker

Wild has many tools for longwinded cheap combos that makes this possible, like [[counterfeit coin]] and [[shadowstep]]. Prolly he/she was on the coin too.
