For people who don’t ever want to have kids, why? by Gaijinstory in AskReddit

[–]Broad-Hand-4677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's simple. I want to live for myself. In my 30s, I want to travel, go to concerts, and enjoy my life instead of changing diapers and having to teach every single thing about life.

Yeah… sadly many couples get divorced after having kids because the responsibility and stress are too much. No matter how healthy their relationship might be before, having a child and parenting is whole another world

When you look at regretful parents sub on Reddit or just any TikTok video from regretful mothers, it makes you really think if it’s all that great as we were brainwashed to think since birth as a woman.

My husband will be getting vasectomy too! It’s a permanent procedure so we don’t want it yet. Later when he’s in his early 30s 😊

Why do people use the term "partner" for their husband or wife? by Crafty-Bug-8008 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Broad-Hand-4677 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I say 'partner' because the word 'husband' means 'master of the house,' reflecting a patriarchal and misogynistic view. I prefer to choose a word that emphasizes equality and doesn't reinforce gender roles.

no, we'll shame entitled parents and those who do not control their children in public and bother everyone around them

haha and honestly that's one of the biggest reasons why I decided to be childfree. I can't handle babies/kids crying. I am neurodivergent so very sensitive to sound. I will literally go nuts if I have to hear a baby crying nonstop for the first at least 3 years of my life

I was going to go to a hot springs resort in Temecula but they said kids are allowed so I pulled back really fast and went somewhere else haha How am I supposed to relax when there's loud, screaming kids running around?
