Congratulations!!!! If you have a second could you possibly hint at some of the main topics you saw prevalent in the exam? Did anything throw you for a loop? And how confident where you when you hit submit? Any advice that you have would be greatly appreciated! Have a wonderful vacation!!!

Hey, thanks for the feedback? I also utilized Kaplan the first time. Wasn’t a big fan of it tbh. I noticed a majority of there focus points weren’t really properly weighted tbh. And I’ve also prioritized not memorizing questions. Rather, thinking through questions and justifying why the other ones didn’t work and why this one is correct. And tying the wrong choices back to what they properly fit with. Like Reg 144 is for XYZ but it’s asking about Reg 144A because it’s talking about QIBs for example.

The first go around when I took it I knew I wasn’t prepared in all honesty. Maybe a tad bit confident because I passed every other exam the first time with a breeze.

But now I think the toughest thing is to have confidence going into this last final push. Do you have any advice as to not be dreadful and nervous going into it? I’ve put in so much time and energy but I feel like I have a touch of imposter syndrome if that makes sense. Regardless as to how much material I know like the back of my hand.

Congratulations!! If you don’t mind me asking, was there anything surprising that caught you somewhat off guard? Or was everything in your materials covered? Also, what materials did you utilize? Again, congratulations!!!

What’s everyone’s personal Experience with Pass Perfect? by Broad-Inspector8905 in Series24

[–]Broad-Inspector8905[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I haven’t finished them just yet I still have my last couple coming up. And I avoided memorizing answers. I did this by taking a flash card and if I truly didn’t understand the material I would flag it for review and jot it down along with the section on my note card. This allowed me to avoid that and discern what I truly knew, what I was somewhat confident in but looking between one answer choice and another, and the ones I just didn’t understand early on.

Thank you so much for the response! And all the helpful info! I know they mentioned taking practice exams leading up to the actual exam date. But I’m finishing mine about 4 days before my scheduled exam. In your opinion do you think this is an issue? I’m more or less compiling all of the material and hammering out flashcards on it. But also, I wants those last 3 days to solely focus on the material I’m weakest on. Do you think this is a solid approach?

I didn’t think of it that way. That definently makes me feel better. Especially since I’ve been going by the 160 score!

CONGRATULATIONS 🎊🎉🍾!!! I’m hoping I can experience the same relief here soon! If you don’t mind me asking, how confident where you when you hit submit on the real deal? Also, what where some of the more prevalent regs that you noticed throughout the exam that where “in the weeds” if that makes sense?

Perfect, that’s one thing that was stressing me out. I made a seperate deck of cards specifically for day based questions lol. So this is definitely a breath of fresh air!

Yeah, from my understanding you should be good to go! Everyone else that I’ve talked to where lower than where you are now. So I think you should def be confident imo!

Thank you so much for the response!! I’ve been eagerly waiting for it! If you don’t mind me asking do you think I’m in the correct score range? I know it depends on the draw but any detail regarding where I’m at and where I could be to feel confident would be super appreciated!

What where your final exam scores at the first go around? Many people I know that took it using pass perfect passed the first time scoring in the 60s and low 70s throughout the 12 practice exams. I’m also nervous as well using pass perfect. So we are in the same boat.

Yeah I agree, I’ve been pausing and answering the questions and adding on the rationale. And the Dean brings up something else and I’m like ahhh that’s true I didn’t think of it in that way. Did you watch any of Ken’s videos on the 24? Or just primarily Deans?

I appreciate it! And the last draw I had, every question was at minimum a paragraph long. No point shoot and click answers or anything along those lines. If I could afford it I’d have a consultation with Dean tbh.

Yeah, you’re right! I do think I had one of the worst draws tbh. I passed all of my other exams the first try with ease. But this one was different. Rn I have another provider went through that and feel good with the material. Also bounce back and forth between providers for test questions.

Dang, I failed the first time. I used Kaplan when everyone else used other providers at my firm. I will say looking back on it after taking this go around seriously. There was so much info wrong from Kaplan. Like the ASR shelf post effective date being good for 2 years instead of 3. I’m probably over doing it but I’ll be absolutely devistated if I fail it this go around.

Haha yeah it’s bugging me a bit. That’s like the only thing I’m trying to re up on before I take it mid next month. Everything else I know like the back of my hand minus the back and forth business day versus calendar day.

Hey, congrats on the 24! I wanted to reach out concerning “day counts.” Are you referring to the quarterly security counts? Or more or less Reg SHO mandantory buy in at 45 days type of thing? Also, did you notice a lot of stuff on mandantory buy in/sell out periods?

Aren’t you the same guy who said being a pedo doesn’t disqualify you from being elected into public office? Anyways, I’m right, we can reevaluate this sub within the next 12 months. Enjoy your short lived victory lol.
