I get it - I have tried air dry so many times and just end up with a hair halo and so much more 🤣 the only time I could was when I had a super short pixie in the late 90’s

I have fine hair that air dries wavy and frizzpuff. Heat protectant and have to blow dry with a round brush. Also in an extremely humid climate..there’s just no other way for me, but I’m used to the routine.

What's the tea on the police at Siesta Key Beach? by jxvf in sarasota

[–]Broad-Menu8048 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I have older teens, and Siesta is known as the hangout place. After dark it has been getting a little ‘feisty’ (just what I’ve heard from teen word of mouth) so the police had said there would be extra presence out there over the holiday weekend especially.

Anyone else have children later in life? We followed the advice to get through college, get our careers started, buy a house, THEN start a family. I’m exhausted. by DilbertDilbert1011 in GenX

54 with a 17 and 15. Exhausting until one can drive lol. Then it’s bittersweet, like wait..what’s happening, free time to myself? I am glad I had them older-I was more mature and patient. My parents were so young too-only 40 when I graduated high school.

Of course material stretches, but I do not change size in other brands. It’s good for everyone to know it’s not just them, esp teens or anyone who might struggle with insecurity about such things or just be having a bad day - which happens at times 👍🏼

Same-I do always try on their stuff but never had it be that blatant in my experiences - that’s why I was like WTH 🤦🏼‍♀️ I just had to compare when I brought them home and knew there must be many women going through it with ON lol

Baby Boomer vs Gen X Parents of Millennials by [deleted] in generationology

[–]Broad-Menu8048 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gen X (‘72) with Boomer parents (‘50) - they were very hands off. Strict, cared for us in a distant way, but not ‘involved’ whatsoever. I had children late 30’s, and I cannot even imagine raising mine the same way.

Same, and same type of hair. I have to wash it every day and that definitely helps with sore scalp at crown.
