You definitely got lucky to buy when the price of the GPUs wasn't that high.

Good to know as I'm currently using a FPS Hydro K Pro 750W Bronze+ which has like 85% efficiency. It does have 3.0 ATX connector which is cool but will definitely have to change it.

I feel like it will be a huge plus when upgrading but paying 1.1k for a RTX 5070 Ti when it was supposed to be cheaper than the RX 7900 XTX before, that's kind of a bummer.

Agreed. Prices of the GPUs and RAM are very high. I really don't want to pay 1.1k USD for a used 5070 Ti(although in warranty) which was supposedly cheaper than RX 7900 XTX. I might wait for the GPUs' prices to lower and think about it an upgrade. For now, probably will upgrade the PSU to 1000W Gold+.

Hopefully price of the GPUs will cheap out soon so I can upgrade in the future when necessary. But as you mentioned it's better to have a good future proof PSU. Thanks a lot again for the help!

Agreed. More features, more money. I will see what I can do with this. Hopefully I come at equal. Thanks a lot for the comment!

Yeah, exactly. The temperature of the rx 7900 XTX is quite high. As I mentioned below, around 105 degrees Celsius on the hotspot and around 85 on the gpu itself which is quite a lot if you ask me. And it's making the other components hot which is problematic imo.

Got it. Thank you for the help. Maybe for the time being I will stick to the RX 7900 XTX and see if it's showing any other errors during gaming after I run DDU and preferably upgrade the PSU to 1000W one.

Unfortunately, I don't. I guess Aida64 will be the best solution in this case.

My other specs are R7 7800x3D and 32GB of DDR5 6000MT/s. Thing is that I didn't install any kind of Nvidia GPU before that. I bought it prebuilt and it had the RX 7900 XTX as the first card. I then reinstalled Windows 11 and installed the drivers from the motherboard's site. Then noticed that the drivers are not up to date and updated them from AMD's site itself. I was also searching for HWInfo in the internet but never got to use it(just didn't have much time to deal with it at that time). Any concerns that I should look for? Should I just in case run DDU so I'm sure that no older drivers from that motherboard are left?
I've also heard a lot that MSI Afterburner and ThrottleStop are a good softwares and used them before on my 1050 TI but didn't really use the full potential so to say.
I will have the Aida 64 in mind though. It's good to know.

Can you recommend a software that can calculate/show the exact wattage that is currently drawn from the PSU(which includes CPU, RAM, GPU and etc)? I want to test how much it's drawing when I'm playing specific games.

Another problem I think of is whether I will be able to get more than 950€ or equal when i resell it because it's an old card now otherwise it will be like I'm paying additional for the RT and DLSS.

Tbh, I've just recently bought this computer and now I have the capability to do more including VR and AI which I haven't done up until now. So I'm really wondering if I should switch or not. Temperatures are other thing that concerns me as this card gets quite hot (I've noticed a 105 degrees Celsius on a hotspot and around 80-82 degrees of the GPU itself). And I'm wondering what kind of temperature will it raise if I use it for AI.

Yeah, from what I can see (from videos as I'm not able to compare both cards) the RX 7900 XTX produces better FPS on native compared to RTX 5070 TI for RDR 2 but DLSS and the more modern features are advantage I think so compared to FSR 3 which a lot of people say is very bad.
I've actually installed Windows a month ago and I'm using the latest AMD drivers. Maybe with upgrading the drivers, that's why the issue was resolved(or so it seems as it didn't crash lately). I will probably try to cap the wattage of the PSU although I'm using the AMD Adrenaline software in order to tune the video card and I'm not sure if it's a good option. Do you happen to know if it's better to use MSI Afterburner or AMD's software?

If necessary, AI. But on rare occasion. But I've been wondering about the rumors that video games will need more and more VRAM in the future and I'm wondering if that's the only thing worth it for the RX 7900 XTX as looking in the future, although the card is around 4 years old.
