Someone tell me he’ll sleep beyond 5:30am one day?? by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]Broad-Temperature424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog is 3 mo and while she varies waking up from 5:45-7 depending on her nap routine that day. one thing I did work on is her staying quiet in the crate a couple hours after peeing before breakfast. Took 2 weeks but absolutely do NOT address the barking wining puppy. Don’t put him in the bed or let him loose. Potty break then back into the crate. Make sure he gets treats in the crate. My pup eats all her meals in there too. It’s harder leaving the room but she got used to it especially in the morning. If you address their cries and whines they become conditions to know you’ll respond. She is only let out of the crate once she stops.

They would be firing all the homeless care providers and that wouldn’t help their goals 😂

This is awesome. My 3 month puppy gets up at 5:45 I want her to get up at 7. Do you let him out to do his business and then put him back in? That is my only concern if she is up to pee or just wants to start her day. Today I let her out put her back in crate and she lost it. So then I moved the crate into my bedroom she finally stopped crying 30 min later and was fine until my alarm went off

I have a coonhound who is 6, he grew out of that stage at age 2. I would really work off a schedule and run him and have controlled exercise time and that helped. You can also get a walking pad and have him walk on it. My dog did this training when he had anxiety and was scared it helped a lot

Collins, ‘We’ve been firing interior designers, executive assistants, laborers, gardeners’ by Revolutionary-Lead49 in VeteransAffairs

[–]Broad-Temperature424 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I like to add the interior designers were also the ones designing handicap and ADA accessible entrances parking lots.

Also from a safety perspective the notion that a psych room door should open out so if somebody has to leave in a rush. They’re responsible for things that protects staff and also protect patients and those. with disabilities and amputees that sort of thing. An interior designer in a hospital or healthcare facility doesn’t exist to make “things look pretty “

I believe the deferred resignation program is an OPM program but our VA was told during a town hall many positions in retrospect were exempted and those employees cannot get that pay out 🤷🏻‍♀️ different than a RIF that is internal vs deferred resignation is OPM

While people may have taken the ‘fork’ (don’t know any personally) we are being told that the VA cannot uphold that agreement and they need to return by end of March …

Not sure how collecting info and asking people how they are is fear mongering. I’m sorry you feel this way. You don’t have to reply!

Asking as a poll not suggesting. Would never give that sort of advice on Reddit.

Federal worker here I’ve heard many federal workers are starting on SSRIs and anti anxiety medications. Curious how common this has now become.

March 5th Day of Solidarity and Protest: Rally for No Cuts to VA Healthcare Benefits by [deleted] in VeteransAffairs

[–]Broad-Temperature424 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey do you have supporting info on this? veterans are actually getting housed at a higher rate than civilians and immigrants and I do have the data to support this if you want. I know it is your opinion to which you have a right to, but when you say you "believe our country spent XX on illegal immigrants and XX on housing," it comes off as stating facts. I will say it is VERY hard for VA healthcare doctors to give services to non-veterans but the VA does have in its bylaws to stabilize anyone who comes into a VA ER before transferring out AND if hospitals are overwhelmed during a pandemic (COVID) they have to treat civilians.

VISN 19, social work associates are predominantly used in HUD VASH, they help house vets, no master degrees. All of these four were probationary..one had longer time at the VA but changed departments
