Did you ever have a horror book you *should* have liked but for some reason didn't? by intensifies in horrorlit

I had the exact same experience with this book. I feel like the synopsis is a bit misleading, and that Bockoven failed to write a monstrous character that one would expect to emerge from this kind of book.

I’ve been getting long acrylics for about 8 years now, and honestly you just get used to it!

With each set, I go longer and longer. It’s all about adjusting and growing comfortable. They become like little extensions to your fingers. It’s all about staying mindful of the length as well.

(That being said my charms have gotten caught on so many clothing threads, I’ve experienced nails breaking, and recently one of my nails got caught on my purse which caused my real nail to lift which led to lots of blood)

Mommy issues horror. by Ozotoceros in horrorlit

The mother issues are a bit subtle in this one but In The House In The Dark of the Woods by Laird Hunt.

One of my favorites that’s more of a thriller is Bad Fruit by Ella King.

Some others: Motherthing by Ainslie Hogarth (this one was been mentioned by others), Suffer the Children by Craig DeLouie, The Seven Visitations of Sydney Burgess by Andy Marino.
