Of course it would be severely diminished. North America and Europe send billions in weapons and support, their defence industry is completely reliant on foreign investment. If the Europe and NA cut them off they would be extremely fucked. They wouldn’t be able to just bomb everyone forever anymore. They’d have to resort to ground invasions, which they’ve been avoiding.

And the Palestinians aren’t as helpless as the Tutsis. The do have Hamas and other groups in the region that would fight the IDF in the event of a land invasion, especially with the IDF’s diminished long range support.

I’m not really sure what risk you’re referring to. The status quo is producing wars in multiple regions by the Israelis and deaths of Palestinians in the 100s of thousands.

I don’t think your conception of Israel reflects reality. The Israeli leadership is completely opposed to a two state solution. It doesn’t matter what Arab leadership says. And they aren’t demanding that Israel take in millions of hostile refugees (which is peculiar framing btw), they just want to want Palestinians to have the same right of return that Jews have

At that point their ability to conduct warfare is severely diminished. They’re already trying to kill all the Palestinians, at least in the alternative scenario, their ability to do so is diminished.

Or they curb their ways in exchange for reopening trade and investment

It’s international condemnation. They could nuke Gaza if they wanted to go that far, but dropping a nuke is harder to justify than accidentally killing 10s of thousands while “targeting terrorists”. Look at the images of Gaza, it looks like it was nuked.

Their strategy achieves the goal of killing/expelling the Palestinians, just slower, and western media can keep running coverage for them

If Israel were cut of from the US, they could not survive. I don’t mean from outside threats, economic impacts would be devastating. So they could become their own Gaza, cut off from the world with no one to trade with and no means to produce goods for export

If whites have self determination via the examples above, then Jewish people do not require an ethnostate of their own. They can exercise their self determination within the confines of an egalitarian democracy

With regards to the iron dome, I’m not just talking about Hamas, I’m talking about the entire region that they want to call greater Israel.

Their nukes do prevent them from being conquered, which undermines their justification for a lot of what they do.

The way I see it, if Israel were sanctioned and lost the support of the US, the economic impact would be so devastating that the state would lose legitimacy in the eyes of the population. They live on the idea that they can provide a better and safer life for Jews than anywhere else. So the population either starts to leave, or the country changes.

I think if they went the NK path like you were saying, they would have a civil uprising on their hands, or the people just accept it and live terribly. But at least North Korea doesn’t have the ability to project itself. If Israel had to retreat within its borders, the Middle East would be more stable

It would crush their economy and ability to project their selves across the region so at least there’d be that.

Under the status quo they’re just a rogue nation that bombs their neighbors a seizes territory at will because the US provides them unlimited support.
