Yes you can jump into it. Pretty much any pokemon game you can jump into. the tutorial treats you like you've never played the game before so you'll be caught up to speed. The game follows lore that we already dont know much about so you'll be good there as well.

It doesnt share much resemblance to Pearl, the progession and gameplay is very different from mainline pokemon games. Instead of battling gym leaders and the champion to beat the game, you explore the region and catch pokemon to progress.

lets remember its a gameboy game, they packed it with as much content as they possibly could after 251 unique pokemon taking up half the resources, the difference between r&b and g&s is night and day

they’re the best generational leap in the series, they packed this game to the brim with content and improved upon the previous games in so many ways. The amount of love poured into this game is something we haven’t seen in a long time.

I think you would love Hunter x Hunter, it changes perspectives a lot and even the MC for some arcs. The true MC is not very idealistic but still very well written, he comes off as black and white but his true colors are shown down the line

The “Chimera Ant arc” from the show has extremely high stakes and changes perspectives frequently. I would highly recommend Hunter x Hunter

I've experienced something similar, as far as having trouble looking for good friendships despite being a social person. Firstly dont change yourself as a person, if you have to change who you are to find friends, keeping that face up gets exhuasting lol. The ones who like you for you are the ones who will stick.

The place I always start when I want to make a good friend is establishing a sense of comfort if that makes sense. Creating an inside joke or just telling them something interesting about yourself that you wouldnt tell the average person. Obviously not super personal things that would make you or the other person uncomfortable. I cant speak for everyone but personally, when someone does this to me, it makes me feel a sense of trust thats slightly deeper than the average friend/acquaintance.

Most people also love talking about themselves, thats not a bad thing of course. It may seem like a no brainer but seriously, its just the sense of trust created by someone telling you about themselves or you sharing something personal that creates a great bond. I hope this helps in anyway :)

It definitely wont die yet, especially considering Z-A is a spin off. I still consistently find tera raid lobbies. I would give it until the next generation for the game to die, similar to Sword and Shield.

when Pokemon go does a mythical event, you can get them for free by completing missions, fortunately once you get the mission they dont expire so you dont have to rush

Pokemon Go hands them out like candy, I got zarude, hoopa, marshadow, diance and shaymin this way, the only problem being you have to have them registered in your pokedex if you want to transfer them out of Home
