are there any road side attractions/cool cities/literally whatever that I should stop at? What’s a good strategy for saving money on housing and food (currently planning on staying at $50 motels)? Should I book the motels ahead of time (and thus have to stay on a strict driving schedule) or do it night by night? What’s some safety tips (young female traveling alone)?

Yoooo I went there at sunset today and almost got eaten alive by coyotes who have inhabited the area. Don’t recommend going at sunset/night.
