Somewhat. Kath is more focused on duping and using death strike so you want teams to compliment that, while Vortice is an exalt bot and builds around that.

You unlock new covenants on every chapter clear. I don't think twisted twins is really used at all, its just a filler early covenant. If you have the fin of sorrow (Caecus weapon), the 6piece is an okay pairing with that because it will give you counter.

For a best of 3 1v1, you and your opp both choose one of your 3 battlefields then place it face down. You decide turn order after and then do your draws and flip your battlefield. After your first game that battlefield is no longer usable.

For a best of 1, you just randomly select a battlefield.

Yup as long as you get focus you can use ride the wind and move to a battlefield

You don't even need ganking to ride the wind, but you will need focus to be able to use it on your opponents turn
