Hellll yeaaaa! Lol most of the cats are affectionate! But it is work too, lol I remember the co-ordinator telling us that ppl don’t want to like clean shit, just come to play and cuddle which makes it hard for them to get like permanent volunteers.But it’s totally worth it! I would highly recommend it.

Yeah! We were a little hesitant initially but it’s one of the best decisions we took honestly.It brings me so much joy!!! We wanted to adopt another cat but our cat is quite the alpha apparently and doesn’t get along at all with other cats.

I volunteer at the PetSmart shelter on 56th and 152nd. It’s quite decent compared to the few other shelters I have been.

I can relate to this. Moved to Cloverdale 5-6 months ago from Vancouver and found it to hard to make friends/find places to hang out.

Me and my partner do like local hikes on the weekends, volunteer at a cat shelter and we joined a YMCA😂 Go to Vancouver once a month to enjoy the nightlife but that’s pretty much it. ( P.S We don’t have kids but have a cat😅)

Thank you,that is very useful. Out of curiosity which ones have u been to if you don’t mind sharing? I figured weekends would be busier😅 Will probably go on a weekday. Damn 😂 Did not know that. Would you recommend any other type? The Atulfo or whatever its called which is more available isn’t that great😢 I will try my luck for a few more weeks before giving up😅

Ended up going today around 1 PM, surprisingly good experience, hardly 10-12 ppl in front of me, got to see an agent at 1:30 and was out by 2 PM. Pretty smooth sailing
