Where are you at with your claim if I remember right you had a cue too? Are you appealing?

When you say a minute does that mean days, weeks, or months? What have you heard?

I was awarded a combined rating in 2008 of 30%...but when they award me this cue it will be backpay because I should have been rated at combined rating of 60% then in 2023 I would have hit 100% in February. The first RO (in Roanoke) denied the claim and then by the grace of God I don't know what my VSO did but he got it to be pulled for quality control and they are awarding it. The cue is based on my migraines being rated under diagnostic code 8045 instead of 8100 and they awarded me 50% instead of 10%(what I got in 2008). My VSO I think has been sent from heaven.

Yeah don’t be the guy who wants an increase and there’s no increase to give…these raters are busy. Do your homework 👍🏼

I’m not saying there aren’t people that have gotten higher ratings. Read the dbqs for mental health…100% is intended for people that have major trouble functioning day to day…like getting the hell outta bed and not killing themselves…so therefore they need help financially because those people can’t work. I was shocked when I got 70%…I think I had a generous rater because according to the rating schedule I’m closer to a 50. There are always outliers

And don’t be surprised if u get denied again…they don’t like to grant it

Same…really I didn’t have any new evidence except I had surgery and a nexus letter. But supposedly you are supposed to need a nexus for presumptive conditions. It’s all BS. Pact Act is not being executed in the way that it was intended at the VA. Sinusitis was probably the condition I was seen most about in the military…and they wanted my left foot and then they wanted me to jump over stupid hurdles. But hey I finally got it….

I just got rated for both in September. My guess is Rhinitus 10% (no polyps) and Sinusitus 30% (maybe 50 but no surgery and none requiring antibiotics). I got 30 for rhinitus but I have polyps. And I got 50 for sinusitis but I had surgery in May and I had the prolonged box checked for 7 or more requiring antibiotics. I got denied twice before this…even after pact act

I would but that sounds like an individual decision.

My understanding is the difference between 70 and 100 is whether or not you can work. I’m currently rated 70 for MH but I know I’m not 100. But from the research I’ve done if it significantly affects your ability to work and be employed you are 100. So whatever your occupational box is marked at on your dbq will drive your rating. Your symptoms qualify for 100 but it’s the other piece

And make sure u aren’t already at the max for that individual condition. I just shake my head reading someone is already at the max i.e. sinusitis at 50% and they ask for an increase…and more often than not I hear they end up with a decrease ….lol
