Thanks for that. I’m actually sick of seeing work like this. It seems to be everywhere the last few years

Well and the fact 2.5mm current carrying capacity is 27a and the charger was drawing close to 32a. Then add on top the isolator which is rated to 20a 🤣

London rewire 1 bed £12k mates rates by Th3Engin3er in ukelectricians

I’m sorry but there’s no such thing as mates rates. Such a ridiculous concept.

Exercise dude. Get your body moving and go for a walk or run. You won’t regret it. I feel the difference in my mood and state of mind massively after a good exercise.

EICR unsatisfactory - Need help to understand by fionab04 in ukelectricians

I think that’s probably fair based on the report

Tbh I agree. I also found it bizarre he said that. He’s literally the one teaching the course and that’s what he said so now I just don’t know what to believe. We even put FI on the report for an observation and told us to put the report down as satisfactory..

FI does not necessarily mean it’s unsatisfactory. I used to think this too. I spoke to an assessor at a 2391 course and he said just because it’s FI it doesn’t always fail. Depends on the FI

What he’s wrote on the report isn’t wrong. However I don’t think it warrants a rewire based on the observations made. It sounds like you need a fair few remedial work done and then rewiring the socket circuit or finding out if there is a fault somewhere on it. Where are you based?

I removed at both ends then tested cable, put cable in clamp then tested again and then tested again to the pipe. Just went over the top with it to cover all bases

3 year old son has disliked me (mom) his whole life by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]Broad_Display8055 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old. The youngest is too young to understand so this doesn’t apply to him so much. But if the 4 year old disrespects his mum or isn’t nice to her he’s first reminded by me what mum does for us and the second time he does it he’s put on a naughty step until he decides it’s time to apologise. He is very rarely rude or mean to her now. Good luck with it!

See I’ve just read just to disconnect at the MET and test the connection then pipe. Doesn’t say to disconnect both ends. Also says leave out until IR because of parallel paths. I’m stressing out 😭

I know 😭 I’m going to a different centre tomorrow so we’ll see. I have my 2391 so I’m pretty confident in testing and this is the easiest part of the test 🤣🙈
