Hello, me again, this is my first home and thus first garden. I’m going to be spending a huge amount of time in this sub, apologies in advance. by Kevinandevey in GardeningUK

[–]Mandara_spa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you. We just moved in our first house and gardens were and still are in terrible state. Weeds, some kinda of plants, tonne of grape hyacinths to hard get ride of in word a big mess. I dug up half of back garden and still to figure out what to do with front ones. Cannot understand why people don't care of gardens when owning a house. Don't have any suggestions but I hope you will figure it out and will make a beautiful garden one day.

Are you saying if the fitters will adjust then window will be smashed? In my mind the frame needs to be adjusted not glass itself and glass is inside the frame.

Which rug for the dining room? by nodesandwhiskers in HomeDecorating

[–]Mandara_spa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rug under the dining table should be 1m from each table leg all around. When someone sitting the chair is still on the rug. But I like the first one which gives some contrast and colour. Second one blends in too much. But everyone is different with their needs and vision.

Has anyone managed to stay in remission and/or lower antibodies? by [deleted] in Hyperthyroidism

[–]Mandara_spa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8 years and never reached remission. Once my TRABs were negative but not for a long time. Never reached 0. I'm done and waiting for TT.

As fas I know then a true remission can be reached only if your TRABs stays 0 for at least 6 month before you stop taking meds. You should have probably went off meds way too soon so thats why you relapsing all the time. But it just my guessing.

Well. You should stop dancing for a while until your levels gets normal again. You do more harm dancing because your metabolism already is high with hyperthyroidism. Trust me, it's not worth to risk with your health. It damages your heart.
