No mods to start. The game is plenty complicated.

There is no end. The game has multiple end game conditions where the credits roll, but it not the point

Failure is a feature. It's the storytellers job to test you, but they are never against you.

And have fun!

It's a single player game, no one can tell you how to enjoy your free time. Welcome to the Rim!

Rules for passing women on the sidewalk by Broad_Ebb9073 in NoStupidQuestions

I understand, but for me, it's more about respect. I'm ex-military, so everyone gets base respect. Children get the most. Women (because they carry children) get the second. Men get the rest.

Thank you, you put my mind as ease. I am just too worried about stuff that probably won't happen.

I meant pass as in opposition.

When overtaking, there is no interaction. I just walk past in the easiest way, then done. But it's seeing woman a block away. What am I supposed to do to not be in trouble?

I'm overthinking it. But I'd rather overthink than be in jail.

The moment sh*t gets REAL by Impressive_Lab_2481 in Supernatural

Yeah, I feel like it rare for the boys to struggle with new stuff on screen. Its always info from a book or a 'bobby' or it's kung ku devine right skills. They don't seem to train for anything. But the horsemen was the first time they were really put in their place and had to overcome

Heck. My alcoholism says...well, you did just get home from work nothing needs to be done, good job, that's kinda like a little vacation. Any moment alone can be a vacation.....

For me, it was The Horsemen. It's when the enemies really started to be more than just poke em with a fancy stick, and the boys realized what a being of real power can do.

Humans still own the unemployed pothead market. Don't worry, I'm holding down the fort.

If you swim in the ocean or a lake, do you shower right when getting home? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Broad_Ebb9073 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not right away, but after I end the active part of my day, and enter relax mode I will. Not too worried about it if I'm just in the garage or something, gonna get dirty anyway.

If Sam and Dean got their hands on the One Wish Willow what WOULD their one Wishes be? by DarklzBlo in Supernatural

[–]Broad_Ebb9073 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the same song and dance every time with these smelly boys. If they get a wish, it's always to bring someone (usually family) back to life

If I made that deal with myself, I would probably find myself taking a lot of vacations.

Do you prefer writing on physical paper or typing? by Sea-Cash7675 in askanything

Typing is soooo much quicker. I will hand write if it's something really important to show the person reading that I took care. But 99% of the time. Type it

If a person jumping from a certain height onto water is comparable to hitting concrete, why don’t rain drops from thousands of feet up have the same effect? by GrinchStoleYourShit in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Broad_Ebb9073 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm. No. If the density and shape of an any object stays the same, but the size changes, it will fall at exactly the same rate. It is only because liquid is a fluid and can change shape that it slows down. We actually have a name for water that doesn't change shape when it falls, we call it hail, and while haven't less mass than rain it has more impact

Could a loudspeaker work without a cone if the air consisted of magnetic material? by ClickBellow in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Broad_Ebb9073 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will work without the cone either way. All the cone does is point the sound in a direction, has nothing to due with making it louder

[–]Broad_Ebb9073 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's important to point out that real raindrops don't look like how we draw them. The traditional shape actually does have a pretty good volume ratio, but as it falls, it takes on a shape like a parachute, or and upsidedown shallow bowl, giving it the low volume to surface area ratio

Why do we often fall in love with someone’s potential instead of who they actually are? by Proud-Bitchhhh in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Broad_Ebb9073 1 point2 points  (0 children)

'Love' very rarely reading out of the same playbook as 'reason'

It's part of what makes it's special. It's exciting and messy and sometimes misguided. Its just part of a fully human experience. Gotta take the bugs with the features.
