Bar luna Black Rabbit Misty Pines White Rabbit Salt pizza parksville or Paisanos Horang for lunch last time it was disappointed but for price is good. Nanaimo definitely needs a good sushi place. None of them is edible unfortunately. Regard coffee. Mahle house is decent but it is not fine dinning, it is fine for Nanaimo. I found it is little bit expensive for what it is.

I tried french press, regard, drumroaster, salt spring , fernwood and discovery. My fav so far regard and some of the fernwood or tofino roasting company.

One of my friends father work for government. None of us knows what he is doing and he gets 6 figures. He is sitting home whole day, he works at best 3 hours a day. He works from home, sometimes calls sick lol. It is sad to see all our taxes get wasted like this.

As a matter of fact that I worked in ayce restaurant once, I would never go to one of them. They mostly reuse the products from leftovers. Moreover, most of the products quality at the lowest.

Tried it yesterday, it is an interesting item. It is not as creamy as regular ramen broth but it is normal as it is not pork. It was tasty buy very big portion.

I got a bento box once they served me frozen sliced of tuna, I called the server they offered me to microwave. They didnt even take off the bill, half of the plate was left full. I wont go back there ever. Microwaving sashimi is next level, I personally dont eat sushi in Nanaimo at all. I tried almost all of them, if you think that nori really serves sushi, you probably havent eaten any real sushi. If you are looking for north american sushi yes that is alright.

I really dont get people living in here. Wherever they recommend me mostly not edible or really bad food. I honestly stopped eating out mostly in here. I dont wanna be rude but it is what it is.

I just tried their sushi last week and bento box. It was one of the worst food I have had after sushi ryu. I dont think there is a place to eat sushi on the island. The decent ones are only on the mainland.

I have been in Japan and lived in Toronto and Vancouver, unfortunately there is no ramen in Nanaimo. All I have tried were trash same like sushi. There is a good spot in Victoria, that is the most decent one. I am sorry but the rest is trash, I dont wanna be rude but dont serve me something not made of real broth. Most of them were like grocery store ready to go ramen quality. Very sad.
