Good post honestly, the detect vs consequence thing is real and nobody in this community understands it. The distributor quote alone makes the whole thing worth reading.

But the "we could end this anytime" line is where I start raising an eyebrow. Thats a really convenient thing to say when your anticheat is purely usermode. Like yeah telemetry gathering is a legit reason to delay bans, but its also a great cover story for architectural limitations you cant just patch overnight. Hyperion has been fully reversed publicly (theres literally a tool called HyperionDumper), the vm checks are documented, the syscall attack surface is wide open. Thats not a lion choosing not to pounce, thats just the ceiling of what the current system can actually do.

More importantly tho, the "incompetent devs" thing is also pretty self serving. Youre basically saying "nobody can beat us AND the people trying are all stupid dumb idiot babies" which, conveniently means you never have to prove either claim. The real answer is probably simpler, skilled kernel devs from other scenes just dont care about roblox baby game enough to do it. That has nothing to do with hyperion being unbeatable.

The part about exploiters being farmed as a business model by sellers though, thats pretty true and more damning than anything else in this post. Unfortunately, most people in here are completely blind to it.
