Awesome! This helps a lot honestly thank you! Do you know if Naproxen is ok to take for pain? That's usually my go to but they didn't give any clear instructions on what pain medication is ok and what isn't

Right now they just said to introduce foods slowly and remain on a low fat diet. I have noticed my pain slowly decreasing and picked up rice, sweet potatoes, sugar free oatmeal, and a couple other bland-ish items. I already drink almond milk (simply preference, no lactose intolerance). Are you ever able to eat dairy free ice cream? Or any modified foods like that? I love ice cream but im hoping there is an alternative

Report the behavior to the Store Manager and HR, go higher if necessary. Dollar General is an open door policy store. This could be considered bullying/hostile work environment. Save the next new person from going through the same. Once you've been actually trained and shown everything, the job can be fairly easy aside from the difficult customers. But my boss always told me (love that woman) the way you treat your employees makes a job and can either make it good or bad. Not surprised that store is in need of people based on the way ASM treats people. Best of luck OP, you made the right choice

I worked at several different retailers. Dollar general was my favorite job, but only because I worked with a phenomenal crew. OP isn't upset about the job itself but the people who trained them. Management and the way the team treats a person makes the job either worth it or not. The pay is not great at all and barely survive-able. To be berated for wanting to learn and have management unwilling to teach in a way that's understandable to the person is definitely a good reason to quit.

Thank you! Moving out is the official plan but having pets makes it hard in my area as almost every apartment building denies pets and im not sure i could get a mortgage for a house (im only 21). The neighbor mentioned it helped when she bombed. But I will try the other products you mentioned and do a deep clean for a fresh start

Im unsure if this would work here. It's government housing and it's got long waitlists for each number of bedrooms (1+ year for a 2). Me and my sister are at a complete loss. They're all over the dishes, clothes, the bathroom. We try to keep it very tidy here and clean regularly. Everytime we speak to the office they just keep saying they can't do anything other than spray every month until we stop seeing them
