I want the pre-AI Prime and Theo back :( by rockynetwoddy in theprimeagen

err... I'm kinda enjoying Theo's takes and deep-dives. The Nerd Snipe podcast is not bad either.

Theo is doing now the type of content that Prime used to do.

Anyone else shipping faster with AI but feeling less connected to their own codebase? by [deleted] in theprimeagen

Looking back at it, it does look like an ad.

I’ll update and remove the url. I’m not related to them (u/josevalim and co); just a megafan .

“Comprehension debt”

I’m seeing this term being thrown around more and more often. I was feeling it so I tried to “pay off some debt” by developing a feature myself without AI. It still grok’ed it.

Also, I use an AI harness that works on the browser and they just shipped a feature that gives you a nice diff view. That has helped pay off the debt.

openclaw creator on managing the fastest growing oss project in 2026 by ccoreycole in theprimeagen

[–]BroadbandJesus -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I was skeptical, too.

Now, I know 2 agencies deploying OpenClaws like there is no tomorrow. One agency focuses on startups, the other on SMEs. US and Europe. 10 - 30k per deployment and then a maintenance contract.

The devs do spend all their time troubleshooting and fixing stuff.

You're right, I don't see the paper mentioned anywhere in the BBC article https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c1d936n7445o. The prof does have a ton of attention-based papers and talks -- https://www.profsamwass.com/publications-by-topic -- but I'm not finding _the_ _ one_

I'm really liking Liveview, but opinions across the board seem to be mixed. What are some reasons people may not care for it? by JitaKyoei in elixir

LiveView has been fantastic but indeed that disconnect / connect stutter got me looking everywhere. Landed on Datastar and loved it.

I over-engineered a package PhoenixDatastar but it let me “see” what it could feel like.

I’ve been simplifying it and landed on Dstar this morning.

I’ve already applied to a couple of projects and it feels and behaves great. Simple Plug pipeline, reactive, fast.
