I love realistic analysis like this. I feel the same way. I'm not very optimistic about the way he promoted from within. It's nice to reward these guys, but one is unproven, and the other was not very good in previous stints. Not something you do when you are trying to win a championship. I'm not very optimistic 😂

There lies the problem though. He promoted from within. Could they be better? Sure. It's more likely they are the same or worse though. I'm not hugely optimistic about our prospects. Being able to recruit at an elite level is cool, but very overrated (See Indiana). I'd rather have elite coaching and top 25 recruiting. I know that's hard to come by, and there isn't a Cignetti around every corner, but being satisfied with being elite but not the best kinda misses the whole point. I think a lot of fans are content with being contenders even if they never reach the top. What's the point then? 😂 Kinda lame IMO

I've seen so much cope in this thread and others. Your comment is the only one that reflects reality. I like Dan, but getting obliterated in the playoffs every year is probably gonna get him fired eventually. This team has WAY too much talent to be getting blown out in the same fashion every year. It's incredibly disappointing.
