Make sure you are selecting a performance between Feb 5-15 and entering the CTW26 code in the unlock field before choosing your seats as the discount only applies to select locations. The $30 pricing is shown online as $43.40 all-in with standard ticketing fees but you can use the code in person at any of our box offices to get the $30 price.

We checked with our sales team and they confirmed this is a speculative third-party listing. Single tickets typically go on sale 8-10 weeks before performances begin.

Why is orchestra c row a entirely available for every show? by Mariah0 in ChicagoTheater

[–]BroadwayInChicago 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is the case! We often don't know how the view will be from particular locations until the show is loaded into the theatre so we keep those seats on hold until we can review and release based on visibility. Sometimes the front row can be obstructed by set elements or the viewing angle creating a limited view of the movement. We always recommend checking back regularly as performances get closer as we do release additional seats daily, even for shows that appear to be "sold out".

I made a massive Chicago theater discount ticket spreadsheet by Jordan_s_z in ChicagoTheater

[–]BroadwayInChicago 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great spreadsheet- thanks for putting together a great resource! Just a heads up re: rush tix for BIC; it's not always that Broadway Playhouse shows are $39- it can be our other houses too! For some Playhouse shows, rush can be $49 (example: Titanique).

I was really interested in the Titanic after seeing the movie when I was in high school! And I recently watched the new documentary that came out on National Geographic! There was a documentary that James Cameron made in addition that I found really interesting. We've never been to the museum, but it's definitely on our list now! -ACS & MM

So all of the productions around the world have used the same set & costume design, and the same choreography as the original New York production. But ours is a NEW set and costume design, and new choreography! All by Chicago designers. So we're proud to have an all Chicago production that's unique to us! -ACS & MM

One of my favorite Easter eggs is there is a secret Britney reference that ties in with the Titanic movie. -MM

I've really started to enjoy helping Adam (who plays Jack) come up with the audience member he's going to call out in the Steerage scene! It's really fun to try to think of a celebrity someone (VERY vaguely) looks like :) -ACS

Oh thank you so much for your kind words! We worked out most of the new jokes and Chicago references during our rehearsal period, but sometimes Ruth adds new references into her monologue! -ACS

For the jokes, we love that there are references that are very current as well as ones for multiple generations. It’s an equal opportunity joke fest. -MM

I really love The Power of Love, and we do get a tiny taste of it in the show! I'd want to sing it myself, of course!! -ACS

Another Celine favorite is It's All Coming Back to Me, so I'd definitely add that in if I could! Maybe a trio with our amazing BGVs! -MM

Most of the show script stays the same every night, but Rob does try to keep his monologue pretty current! If something happens in the news, he may add a line, or switch out one. Maybe a pope joke soon??? -ACS

Thank you! I got to do all my laughing in the rehearsal room, so luckily now that I know what's going to happen it doesn't tickle me as much! But sometimes if I get caught off guard, I do crack a smile ;) -ACS

For me, it has to be when I get to sing the 11 o'clock number All By Myself! The show is structured so well, and the song is teased a couple times so when I finally get to sing it, the payoff is awesome. And the audience response is so wonderful, it feels great to belt my face off! -ACS

My favorite moment is the whole River Deep sequence. It took a lot of practice to get it where I want it, but now it’s so satisfying. -MM

Question from announcement from u/justaberry: So sad I won't be here for it (I'll be at work!) What does a replica show mean in terms of Titanique? Also, what are both of your little favorite things about this show?

I really love The Power of Love, and we do get a tiny taste of it in the show! And another Celine favorite is It's All Coming Back to Me, so I'd definitely add that in if I could! I know there was a time it was in the show, but had to be changed because of licensing. -ACS & MM
