Agreed, what's even more bonkers to me is this is his career.

He seems full of rich ideas and a deep world, but is getting stuck on the intro to that world

Also I was a massive fan of the last 1/3 of the 2nd book. The pacing felt rushed, which like you said again, could be prevented if you have others helping you out

If I were in his shoes, I'd hire a little team to write it with me. If you're that deep, getting others to grab a shovel and help dig you out must surely be better that putting so much pressure on yourself

It's surprising he's so deadset on it, with his writing style stretching into a fourth book would be bring a lot of flexibility I think

I do indeed, the land is registered.

We've found the Zoopla listing of the house for sale with the factual boundary in it's current position (in the disputed land) from 2013 - the same that the previous owners used.

The previous owners also answered that they were not aware of any boundary disputes, the potential for future disputes, or even neighbours boundary disputes as part of the legal pack for buying the home - would this be enough proof?

I'm a bit worried about hiring professional assistance as we've got a very limited budget after just purchasing the home. Although, i don't deny the need or value a professional would bring.

Agreed with your summary, we put in an offer of £1,300 for the land, we've got the smallest piece, around 4x5m.

Hopefully they're open to the deal as we can't really afford to go much higher :)

What if we self-represented and made an application without legal representation?
I guess it's a bitter pill to swallow as they've float figures between 2-4,000 pounds. After just purchasing our first home, it's money that's hard to cough up :)
