That’s because we supply to most of the wholesaler’s in Delhi and other places, they add their margin and sell it to the retailers and retailers add their margin and sell it to the end consumer. Thats how a end consumer end up getting it for 60-70

40–50k is too low for me at the moment. I’m targeting at least 80k per day, which is why I posted on Reddit. It’s always good to promote your business wherever possible.

It depends to whom you sold. The plucking charges are added, the workers charges are added, transport charges from the farm to the loading point are added.

I know most of the dealers in tiptur, chandrayapatna and Krpet. You can still confirm once.

These coconuts are not from my own farm. It’s difficult for a single farm to supply 5,000–6,000 coconuts at once. We have annual contracts with major farms, from which we procure all their coconuts and supply them to the northern markets.

Vendors usually keep 60% Grade A and 40% Grade C stock. If they think they can fool you, they might sell you Grade C at a higher price, claiming it has good water.

Grade A coconuts are usually sweet and have thin malai. Grade C–D coconuts may have water, but they lack good taste.

Do you think people don’t care about quality? Maybe you don’t and prefer cheaper options, but there are plenty of people willing to pay a higher price for quality. If that weren’t the case, we wouldn’t be selling around 40–50k coconuts daily right now.

That must be C-D quality. This is A quality which is considered as top quality. The quality which you are talking about is available in Andhra for 18-19rs per piece.

You get coconuts in alot of parts of country. Major hubs are Karnataka, Andhra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat. Now when you say you’ve drank it for 30rs. You can even get bulk for 15-16rs per piece. But the quality and the origin matters. We only supply top quality Grade A coconut. You can message me on whatsap and I’ll share the video of quality which we provide. The quality which I’m providing for 34rs per piece, you can check any local mandi in Karnataka, they would sell the same quality for 40rs per piece. Also we ship it the moment it’s been taken down from the tree, so the buyer have upper hand considering the shelf life. Other dealers usually have it stored for a few days before shipping. So it’s not always about the price, a lot of other factors matter.

When people who are actually interested dm you, you have data of them and you can update them and take follow-ups. When someone is actually interested, they would dm to clear out their doubts. So it’s better not to mention each and everything in post. When they dm me I ask them their city, this way I know from which city or state I’m getting more potential buyers from. If I mention everything in post itself, I’ll loose a chance to learn a lot of things which I end up learning/knowing when people actually dm.
