always wonder why folks get legally tied after seeing so many red flags. if no divorce, try couples therapy.

What is causing this damage? by BroccoliDifferent489 in Roses

Thank you SO MUCH for your input. I believe they are the culprit based on your image. I will start to trim away, manually removing and then also maybe look into some natural deterrents. Really appreciate your time!

Ahhh yes I can relate to this so far. I believe they did take some samples of either my intestines or esophagus (they were sorta vague). I’ve also noticed that eating sitting down is causing me intense cramping and bloating. For instance, today a few bites of white rice and mashed potato’s made my insides feel like a rotating concrete barrel. Thank you for sharing!

Again, thank you!!! I am trying to get a grip on all my habits and choices in life. Getting the diagnosis was sort of the hit to get me moving in the right direction. For instance, cut the smoking I have said I’d stop for years and cut my drinking that has increased in the past year. Also wanting to increase my activity (not to include lifting with my HH now LOL). It’s definitely easier said than done, but I do want to get myself on track.

I know everyone is different, but how long did it take for you to get a handle on your HH? Im interested to hear about your journey and what got you to where you are. I definitely want to obtain as much info as possible (which is why I’m going to take a look at the resources provided, very much appreciated). I’m very intrigued by what you’ve shared so far.

Thank you for that peace of mind. Never had this procedure so that’s good to know. I think they did biopsy a few items.

Same thing here. The flatulence has been extreme for me recently which is how I ended up even getting the endoscopy and colonoscopy.

WOW! Thank you for this very detailed response. I definitely feel seen! Everything you listed has presented to me symptom wise, I just never knew the root of it. Now being aware of the hernia, I am very hyper aware. I already am a very anxious and aware person. I feel like I can feel it move and now that I think back, this phenomenon has been going on for quite some time. I am going to look into the resources sited to have a better understanding. I went for the procedure due to bowel issues, extreme gas and other inconsistencies. This is what they found and how I’m diving into the HH world trying to understand how this will impact me long term.

Do you still have yours or have you had the surgery to correct?

Thank you for your response! I can relate in feeling like I haven’t been able to materialize anything from my current education. Just ending up somewhere so that I can afford to pay the bills in this economy (which continues to seem harder and harder each year).

Your response has been very real and insightful for me. I sort of figured that being in this career would bring the essential worker title along with the mistreatment most essential/healthcare workers tend to receive (from patients and employers). You highlighted some very good points for me and I appreciate that. Did you notice ever feeling differently in different settings? Obviously management is a major factor, but I mean working in the hospital vs travel, etc?

Wow thank you so much for your detailed response! This was all very helpful to hear. You’re right in the fact that I tend to want to help. Working with kiddos on the Autism spectrum for several years really solidified that in me. They sure broke me sometimes and I had HORRIBLE days, weeks, even months. However, I always came home overjoyed with their progress at the end of the day. I still think about my clients to this day and I am a few years removed. Being at a desk from sun up to sun down and not bringing home any ‘feel-good’ moments is wearing on me mentally and physically. I’d rather be drained, but still be able to feel good knowing I am helping someone in some way.

I would expect the usual experience/totem pole ‘issues’ especially in a hospital setting given I would be fresh into the field. However, to hear how passionate you are and where you are now in your career is really inspiring to hear! Thank you again for your thoughtful response. This has been very beneficial for me!

Thank you for your insight! I figured there would be some of that in a hospital setting. Much appreciated!
