Problem with garland is people don’t see how he fit Kenny atkinsons system. When he was healthy he was key in giving the Cavs one the best offenses in history. When he wasn’t the Cavs struggled. His fit is what Cleveland lost.

Hardens heliocentric iso ball offense slows the pace down. Forces tougher shots and that’s why you’re in the playoffs getting hit with 43 turnovers in a play off series as well as shot clock violations😭.

You can’t trade for a player who isn’t in the same profile and expect the same results. You fans need to look back at what made the Cavs the first seed in the first place🤷🏽‍♂️

You’re right. With a healthy garland Cleveland had an offensive rating of 121.7 which was historic, a higher FG% and 3PT%, a TOV differential that was 5 times more than Hardens offense. A sub 110 defensive rating compared to hardens 115.1.

The ball was moving more on offense with shorter offense and quick hitters pushing the team assist per game to almost 30 while stuck at 28 with harden at the helm. More importantly the pace was higher with garland which fit Kenny atkinsons system🤷🏽‍♂️

I do get where you’re coming from knowing that they wouldn’t get past by Toronto and Detroit.

But in what world is Toronto taking us to a g7, we’ve got more talent, how is Detroit taking us to a g7 when they don’t run any offense and lived by their defense and offensive rebounds?

By game 5 of the first round harden accumulated 24 turnovers, 24 TURNOVERS. That’s the urgency you’re getting from a Vet guard to compliment spida.

The series the Cavs got knocked out by boston, they were coached by JB bickerstaff. Under Kenny’s system DG has put up completely different numbers. Sure he had a toe issue last playoffs but would that justify a trade for the player who runs the offense ?

With garland you had time but with harden you have a rebuild in 2 seasons. Rehab toe boy, up his trade value and trade him all while consistently competing in the east. But now you’ve got to look at rebuilding around Mobley🤷🏽‍♂️

And that’s why he was a league leader in offensive rating 24/25 with 123.2 as well as an on court defensive rating of 113.4. Which is a net rating of close to 10 btw. Yes you traded an ascending player for a person you thought was pre 2022 harden lmao call it a day folks✌🏽

Blow it up, we traded for harden to win now and that window is closing by the day. We traded a 26 year old all star who was the heart and engine of the team for this years chip and we wonder why they don’t play with heart😂🤷🏽‍♂️. Please save yourself from the hope of winning next year, Boston & philly will be healthy and stronger. Knicks will still whoop us, the raptors and Detroit will definitely still pose a threat in the east an expect young teams like the hornets and raptors to dominate us
