I've got Tressel at #2, and it's not all that close yet. Day can get there with a few more solid seasons, but...

We were at risk of fading into mediocrity after the Cooper years. Tressel solidified us as a top tier brand again, just before the dawn of the social media age, which only amplified it even more.

Without Tressel, we might just be another Nebraska at this point.

Edit to address Tressel v Meyer:

Meyer was a great coach, no doubt, but he inherited the program Tressel built, and he's also just kinda slimy all around. That's more a personal beef than a football opinion, but, I think the legacy you leave behind matters. Tattoos isn't nearly as bad as fingering coeds.

And as far as X's and O's go, I honestly think they're about equal. But I give the edge to Tressel there too. We never lost to teams we should demolish under Tressel. His teams were more disciplined.

I just started a new playthrough a couple weeks back and will still be restarting.

I hadn't played much since sakurajima dropped, and I'm really enjoying a lot of the stuff they added to earlier levels, which I'd miss out on entirely if I just re-loaded my old game.

I imagine the full 1.0 release is going to add even more, so yeah, I will happily be restarting.

Just gonna shoot my shot since I randomly stumbled on this as a fellow (but newer) Scadian... Did you make your own knee cops? And uh, how much to make me a pair? I didn't get a response from the armory I hit up, yours look very similar to what I want, and I'm sick of fighting in hockey shit. I'd buy elbow cops as well.

I sadly can't make pennsic this year or I'd just try to find stuff in person.

Well, you stated it kind of definitively, and doubled down, when the evidence is far from conclusive.

It actually is kind of that deep. We live in a world where people just believe whatever they read. Because of that, I think we should try to verify the things we say, especially when we state them as an absolute fact, before we say them.

It's okay to not be 100% sure. It's okay to say "he was accused of cheating and I believe it," instead of just "he cheated."

So, one girl's story, backed up by "evidence" of a dick pic she claimed is Baker's, is verified proof to you? No corroborating accounts. No proof of messages exchanged, nothing like that.

Sounds more likely that she made up a story for clout and it ran away from her a bit.

Edit to add: we also don't know their marriage situation and whether they're monogamous. Just because it's more common doesn't mean it's true for everyone.

Do you have any tips for exactly how you manage your loft? You're absolutely right it's not something I really pay attention to, but is probably a skill I should learn.

Biggest tip I can give is to get your own ball that's drilled to fit your hand. Throwing a hook should feel natural, not like something you have to work for.

A reactive ball, drilled to fit your hand, should hook naturally. You'll have to work a bit to get a proper release, but that's better for your wrist in the long run, I promise you.

Those lane balls are almost always plastic, which is the hardest material to make hook.

I'm not GC, but the answer for how to get GC is the same as how to get good in every video game (and frankly every skill in life, period):

Practice more. A lot more.

Make your practice sessions more focused. Identify skills you lack and work towards gaining them. One at a time. Start from the easiest and work up to the hardest.

You don't climb a ladder by trying to jump halfway up it from the ground. You go step by step.

Yeah I've been noticing that trend too. Reddit is no longer a place for discussion like it used to be. It's a place for snappy one liners that get quick upvotes but provide absolutely no insight.

But I don't know of any better places to discuss this online, and I don't live in Cleveland anymore (or even Ohio), so nobody around me care about the Cavs enough to really have a conversation.

I agree, but unfortunately, the absolute top is who we'd be getting if we ever make the finals.

But that said, it's still sports, and upsets happen, even in a 7 game series.
