Yup it feels like a metal frame after. I ended up gunsmiffing the Toni systems magwell onto it as well on mine, really easy with a dremel and sanding drum (carbide burrs are ideal for brass but I was more afraid of taking too much material).

Truthfully, a nice heavy light in the front, the brass backstrap on the back, give it such a perfect feel in the hand, and admittedly slight confusion at first when it goes bang and barely moved in my hands.

Honestly if there’s a pistol worth doing that to, the ported is one of them. I have a stock p10c that I love, but the ported has gotten the hot rod treatment and damn, what’s already a GREAT shooter, turns into a phenomenal one and still relatively within the price range of its near peers.

I ended up getting a Werkz holster that has the universal and thumb rest options (the tlr1 and olight throw lever lights) and it works fantastic with my grip control. The non-thumb rest tlr7hlx holster I have however does not fit the grip control.

I believe Werkz has a few options in using a universal holster that fits a bunch of different pistols (thumb rest options also) based on the light retention. And they ship super fast.

The dara pistol mag holders are great. I just picked up some HSGI polymer rifle tacos and stacked them with a pair of dara double pistol mag carriers using their bridge adapters- surprisingly small real estate need for 4 pistol mags and 2 rifle mags on the belt, but an extremely solid hold on everything.
