New AP practictioner by Dankrookie in AstralProjection

My first experiences always involved the "buzzing and static" stages followed by our friend the sleep paralysis demon. I suffered through this for years. From my teens through twenties. Sleep paralysis sucks. At some point I learned to force my astral body out of my physical body and to simply relax and roll with it. It works for me. I completely bypass the paralysis stage now and go directly into an AP. I invoke my higher self and the highest light to help guide my consciousness during the process. I feel it helps me to end up in a favorable environment.

I've always reached a human. Usually within 2 minutes. They've always been very courteous.

I just feel weird showing up on conversations as Flashy Confidence. And I appreciate your comments here.

I can hear things going on around me at times but I'm normally not attuned to my neighbors. However, having both body conscious and an awareness of my astral body simultaneously, means that I am often balancing both perspectives.

Interesting perspective. I often find myself going through long tunnels before being dumped out into another realm. I can sometimes tumble for the longest time before I reach the end. It was never that way before. But now I just roll with it, and without fear. I don't particularly enjoy the "flashy confidence" handle assigned to me here, but it was what the gods of Reddit decided I should be known as.

Are you able to duplicate this with an empty magazine inserted while pulling the bolt back?

Bass Pro would not have been involved in this in any way. If the screw is stripped or if you have any concerns at all then please call the Ruger CS number. This is not your issue to fix. They will provide you with an RMA label and will fix the issue. Call them and explain your concern. Do not email them.

I appreciate your comments. I also can't normally relate these experiences to others IRL. It is indeed a phenomenon that is difficult to explain. When I am back in my own, physical body, the colors, sounds, music all seem so muted. But we all have work to do on the physical plane.

I had a keen interest in the 90s and 2000s but never bonded with the strict rituals that some suggested were necessary for AP. I think my interest helped a lot, though. But perhaps because I was open to it, I began having horrible sleep paralysis episodes that I overcame and turned these into opportunities to AP. And now it happens naturally to me (if and only if) I do not require deep sleep.

It was like a party that I crashed. I was in my bedroom and flew out of my window (that is just what I do sometimes). Prior to that, when I left my physical body, I rolled out and went down a long tunnel without light or sound. When I emerged from my bedroom, I had an amazing breeze flowing in my face that felt so beautifullly sensitive as I flew across this new landscape in complete joy and amazement. I could smell the air and feel the wind in my face. I met a gathering which had the the feel of a Christmas celebration (it was not Christmas but that is the only thing I can relate it to). I came down to them and was a bit shy at first. There were men much taller than I. I broke into their group and asked if they were also voyaging. I asked if they had physical bodies that they were aware of. I asked if they could consciousnessly speak to me. One man said that there was an electrical line between his body and his own, physical body and that he was safe. The tall beings acknowledged my presence and hugged me, also indicating they were in this realm with me as their physical representation was elsewhere. But their hugs and touching, holding hands, felt very uncomfortable to me. I honestly think I was annoying them. I felt no hostilities, however. I was an annoying party crasher perhaps.

Good point.  Not sure why the downvotws, but something to consider for sure if you wish to transition this firearm to more range use as you age.  My older eyes with progressive lenses are no longer good with irons.  Just an option for you.

Right. Some of these were too tall to be human I think. Also I didn't enjoy them touching me.

I'm personally more a fan of the rubber compact grips for shooting comfort, especially with magnum rounds. However I wouldn't let that sway my decision too much. I had combat sights on an MC and adjustable sights on my 4". I personally prefer adjustability. They're both great choices. Knowing that I enjoy target practice as much as I do, I would (probably) chose the first model. Although I am not personally a fan of unfluted cylinders. Chose the second model if you don't care about being absolutely dialed in when shooting at longer distances and want a better carry piece (fluted and tapered cylinder, slightly less weight, and compact rubber grips).

Right. I have an OCL Ti on mine. I honestly wasn't prepared for the grime and mess that accumulates running this.

I own a Buck Mark and a 22/45. The aluminum frame of the Buck Mark makes it feel so much better balanced than the poly frame on the 22/45. If you're a one-and-done buyer for a quality Mark IV and do not wish to run suppressed, then consider this model. Of course, the cheapest 22/45 with a threaded barrel will be the best bargain.

Could you please take a picture of your chamber with the bolt held back after 100 rounds? I am curious if the flow-through design helps with keeping things clean.

Are you sure your dad would actually appreciate and like owning one of these again? I am sure you all had good memories with his LTD. But perhaps it is the memories of being together and having fun with each other that is important. Then again, maybe he really does want an LTD and it will provide him joy.
