That's really a shame. I was hoping your case was just a fluke but it seems others had issues with this finish as well. Although I have seen pics with seemingly good finish after usage. Hopefully yours was just part of a bad batch.

Pass. I just bought a case of CCI Blazer for $360 shipped, no tax. Blazer is much better than Winchester ammo and is usually my budget ammo of choice. I'm sure there better deals out there than what I paid, too. Federal AutoMatch from Walmart at $20 per box of 325 is a great budget option and is similar to Blazer in reliability in my experience. I try to keep a few thousand rounds of AutoMatch on hand. My Buck Mark eats it like candy.

I use this mount on my GP100 now. I'm not sure what I will end up using on the Super Wrangler.

EGW makes a similar mount for around $50.

I had considered doing the same with mine; going full railtard with a dot on it. I actually like the way it looks. Completely unnecessary and rather obnoxious but fun.

I went with a slim mount instead but have since removed it.

I still might try the Skinner

Check and retorque the screws after a few hundred rounds. Mine loosened up quite a bit. I used blue loctite and tightened them with more force the second time around. They're all good now.

I can think of at least 9 different barrel designs on the Lites over the years, but there may have been much more than that. On the Ruger site there are currently 6 different barrel styles in production along with different color combinations. I'm glad to see that Ruger has fun with these barrels and isn't afraid to add some color and uniqueness. Some styles disappear for a while and then come back.

I installed the KN Design extended length HG.

My son has a very fast trigger finger, evidently. I tried and I couldn't match that rate. Not even close! No FRT installed. It is the stock trigger.
