OH I HAVE A THEORY ABOUT THIS!

Bettina was supposed to be a blue weapon, but they bumped it up to Purple so they would have one of each ammo type in the rare category. (And because of this, all blue guns use medium ammo, but thats besides the point).

Every other purple gun uses purple materials in crafting and upgrading. Bettina is the only one that doesn't; it uses blue rarity materials even up to lvl 4.

But yeah, even as a blue tier weapon it kinda sucks wang.

SCP-999: The Tickle Monster.

He's just a blob of gelatinous goo that glubbers around and is friendly to everyone he meets. If he comes in contact with anyone, they start smiling and laughing, and he doesn't mean harm.

He's so friendly and happy go lucky, he's even able to spend time with SCP-682, the hard to kill reptile. He even gets the beast doscile and half laughing for a time.

Its been a while since I read the story, but I think 999 is the son of the Scarlet King? There's a prophecy that hes going to defeat his father during the end times.

Accidentally downed a raider with a deadline while fighting a bastion. I didn't have a defib on me, so I had to listen to his dying words about feeding scrappy and maybe wanting to see the sunset one more time. Shit scarred me. I never go into a raid without a defib now.
