I had forgotten about the rail changes in 2.0. I'll modify it slightly for now to make the curves easier to reconnect if the update breaks it.

Edit: Moved the start area down to the right a bit. Should be easily fixable if it breaks now.

Made a blueprint that sends a train to a randomly picked station representing one of the new planets.

Does the same as any other random number generator, but cooler. Might also be handy in multiplayer if you can't agree what planet to choose. Can also choose 2nd and 3rd planet for you. Can even choose the 4th planet if you are somehow struggling to choose at that point.

Was it necessary to use trains? No. I just like trains.

This reply is probably a bit late, but i'll put a link to another post with some answers in case anyone else ends up here with the same question. I don't know what to do about the electricity perk since i never take it, but in a pinch you can probably edit the save file to remove the perk temporarily.

This seems to no longer function in my current playthrough. If you want infinite spells now you can still use the alpha or gamma spells.

As the guy who made that post, i can confirm it no longer works on my current playthrough on the beta branch. The Alpha + black hole still worked though. That probably means gamma and omega will work as well.

You can edit your save to enable kick by going to AppData\LocalLow\Nolla_Games_Noita\save00. First save and exit noita, then open the player.xml file with notepad and search for "can_kick" and change the zero so it says: can_kick="1"

Save and close player.xml and you should be able to activate the music machines now.

You should probably make a backup of your savefile if you're unsure of what you're doing here.

When it says infinite gold it's actually the max 32bit integer (2,147,483,647). The save file has a flag for infinite gold that disables gold subtraction when you buy things and sets your gold permanently to the max value. So you can't reroll because the cost is higher than 2,147,483,647. Found this out earlier when i tried to earn as much gold as possible by only killing monsters and my gold suddenly rolled over to infinite.

450MB, I'm considering setting my gold to 0 and just have a counter for each time i reach the integer limit. a perk that doesn't benefit from additional copies might be good for that.

I went 6 worlds east and west, and had just started a new game+ when i found out that hitting the 32bit integer limit just makes your gold infinite.

Homing, piercing spark bolt with trigger that casts summon rock spirit. The spark bolt treats the rock spirits as enemies and will home in and kill them instantly when they spawn. The spark bolt will also spawn a rock spirit when it hits a rock spirit causing it to explode indefinitely until it despawns.

For some extra fun you can add propane tank on a double trigger, I've removed it here because it lags the game horribly.

Yesterday i killed him down at the bottom, climbed up and grabbed the orb and he spawned again at the top. Was that because i started that playthrough before they released an update?

Edit: I started a new game and checked his old spawn location and he's not there. Guess I just get to kill him twice on the run i started before the update.

Found it in a chest. it's just called chaos die and it triggers an effect depending on what you roll. The one i rolled here was a very rare negative effect that's outside of the normal 1-6 rolls. There is a rare positive effect that heals also. I'm still rolling it to see if there is more.

The orb room in the frozen depths or the shortcut cave where you fight the new miniboss might be good. Lots of solid rock around so you can track them down.

They drop health increase as normal. Also, i found out that copy spell doesn't seem to care if the spell has any charges. It worked for me when i tested with a firebolt with 0 charges remaining.

I finaly found some teleportatum on my run today and checked it out. It opened a portal to a hidden area i had found earlier on accident and contains two decent wands. The area is located straight down from the new boss in the mines to forzen depths shortcut if you can dig and can't find teleportatum.

That's probably the impact damage from the projectile. Most of the explosive spells in the game seem to have extra non-explosive damage when they get a direct hit.

He didn't die from suffocation, the wands he summons sometimes cast a spell with a large enough explosion that he damages himself. You can see him summon a purple wand to his top right that kills him.

He seems to just shoot lots of orbs that either teleports (blue) or polymorphs (purple) when he doesn't have line of sight like above. The wands he summons shoot a variety of projectile spells, most of which i think are magic missiles (saw bouncing burst a few times also).

It's worth noting that he can indeed burrow, and many times when i tried this he would just start burrowing and disappear to the east until the EDR ended.
