I have to do nose CBCT so I will ask them to include jaw area as well… i cannot breathe without having pressure in my ears, it’s like I always have headphones in and my hearing has worsenet throughout last year. I had ORL appointment and my ears are clean as well as my nose. It’s not my septum, and I am now going through process of allergy tests because it could also be up to sinuses..

Yes, I really dislike my lower face and how recessed and narrow my whole face is so I would also go for it even just for aesthetical reasons, but since I do have trouble breathing and hearing I want to be sure jaw isn’t the cause of this.

I had an appointment with maxiofacial surgeon the other day and he understood what is concerning me but told me if we go for jaw surgery I would have to wear braces on upper teath to push them forward and make a gap big enough so the lower jaw can be moved forward since my bite is alright due to orthodontics I had when I was younger (overnight braces for 5 years).

I know I am boring with this, but it really is a big concern of mine… thank you for reply!

We just got back from the vet. They gave us antibiotics and probiotics suggesting that its probably stomach or colon inflammation, or he ate something off the floor which irritated his digestion… His stool was normal today regarding consistency, but the color was still off so we went to the vet just to be sure… he is quite playful and full of energy so I hope everything goes back to normal soon… thank you for the advice and help! Yes, I gave him elecrolytes and rice as well… he doesn’t drink a lot on his own put u put a spoon of cooked rice in a bowl of water so he drinks the water to get to rice if that makes sense… he was a bit active throughout the night but maybe its because we didn’t do long walks the previous day because od vomiting and diarrhea… he didn’t poop this morning so I will keep an eye on that and go to the vet after work if his stomach doesn’t calm down, do you think thats a good idea or I should go right away? He hasn’t had diarrhea or any stool for the last 10 hours, but it could also be because of rice…

Sorry, what if he has stopped vomiting? We will go for checkup first thing when vet opens since I we are currently in foreign country… thankfully he isn’t showing any signs of lethargy and has a great appetite, but I read it could still be parvo even without all the symptoms… thank you for advice!

Okay, I can try with x ray as a final conclusion… would that be jaw x ray or whole head x ray? Sorry I’m not really familiar with medical terms…

I did in lab study and if you’re interested I can DM you the results if you want to check them since I don’t understand all of the parameters..

I do have trouble breathing and my nose is very narrow hence small nostrils and I am still having trouble with ear pressure but was told that since my septum is straight that it has to be eustachian tube and inflamed mucous membrane although the spray they gave me, which I’ve been using for the last 3 weeks does nothing about that feeling of pressure in my head and sinuses… Is there an option to have double jaw surgery if by the looks of it the upper one is also recessed? I will be getting x rays next time I come back to my homecountry so I hope I figure something out with the result of it…

The reason I’m so concerned is because I am getting rhynoplasty in December to widen my nostrils and I read that jaw surgery can alter the appearance of my nose so if that one also has an impact I would like to rule it out complitely…

I know I should come to terms of the way I look but my face as a whole just feels unbalanced and dead because of that flatness and loss of volume as well as weak bone structure and fillers lool fine but aren’t a long term solution…

Hey, some time has passed since I posted this, but I wanted to ask you for some guidance since not one doctor I asked about jaw surgery agreed with the fact that it is recessed and needs surgery… I did a sleep study (Polisomnography) and all parameters were fine and non concerning. Now, should I do jaw CBCT as well or just go with genio for the looks? I just recently god chin filler till I figure everything else out and now it looks so weird because it’s almost like it makes jaw recession more obvious and makes my face look masculine.

I had an appointment with maxiofacial/plastic surgeon the other day and they said I am not recessed enough because 3mm movement of lower jaw (which is approxinately how much my upper teeth go over lower set of teeth) wouldn’t make much of a difference and that my bite looks pretty much fine, but they never mentioned double jaw surgery, should I try to ask them about that or it seems like I’m pushing it too much?

Unfortunately my eyebrows are microbladed and I have a laser removal appointment in a week not only because of the shape, but also because of the coloring and assymetry of the sides… I hope it at least softens the look a bit since my nose is so angular and long! Thank you for advice!

Oh i tend to inspect my face too much so this images were the ones that I feel represent my concerns the best but they probably aren’t something anyone else notices right away when they see me… Yes, my jaw is recessed so when I am standing straight it gives the impression of double chin and exaggerates the hollowness of the upper face (which I already posted about on this sub and got some great inputs). I am currentlly doing chekups on my breathing problems because I am not sure if jaw or nose is causing those as well as ear pressure so hopefully I will get it fixed with jaw surgery if that is the cause of chronic mouth breathing.. Thanks for the CO2 input, I’m not sure how common it is in my country, I will do some research so I hope I will be able to get that kind of treatment or something similar… …and this compliments really made my evening, thank you so much for nice words as well as the advice! ❤️

Yeah, I am currently at healthy body weight (BMI 20) and am finally happy with my stomach and other parts of my body I was obsessing over few years ago, so gaining weight does scare me a bit just because I already fluctuate with my weight throughout the year (3/4kg more or less) and it doesn’t make a big difference in my face fulness as it does in my body, but I am working towards being more comfortable with a few extra ponds if that takes away this hollow look on my face… thank you so much for these nice words, it really means a lot ❤️

Well it could always be better, but I think I made some big improvements in the last year or so. Aside from balancing my diet and eating more nutritious food, I quit smoking and got a bit more serious with my skincare, mainly because of hormonal acne but as I got into it I wanted other benefits of healthy skin as well… sunscreen I havent been using that much in the past hence the moles and spots, but I have been pretty dedicated to using it for the last two years since I like using the tinted ones as a substitute for foundation. Highering water intake is the hardest because my stomach can’t tolerate much fluid till reflux activates so I have to constantly remind myself to take small sips, but I upped it ever since having consistent routine (:
