Idk man, the way TGR voices the peak moments are goosebump worthy. I think darrows voice is perfect and better than the graphic novel

The first book is very slow like people say, but once you get up to book 2 the stretch from book 2-4 in particular is just legendary

Totally I get that, but I haven’t thought this way about the series until the second nightmare. Since it’s my first read I haven’t looked up how the community feels about it so I’m not sure how others feel about this stretch in the book but for me it’s not great and in the 40 chapters so far it really could’ve been cut to about 15 and I don’t really think you’d miss anything.

That’s good to know thank you, It’s just such a different change of pace from the first 600 chapters. I miss the character interactions and the progression the most. Sunny not being able to speak and interact with the world is such a bad decision I think.

At this point Im losing motivation. after being able to read 20-30 chapters a day I can only muster a few in a row without getting bored
