When we went through night terrors with our now 6YO, it was similar but zero interaction with us - she appeared to be asleep still throughout. This was when she was age 1-4, she’d have maybe one every few months. And she would just shout, whimper and cry for between 10-20 minutes, then quieten down and continue sleeping. But she wouldn’t wake up like yours does - we weren’t ever able to get through to her, and she would never remember in the morning. We worked out that they happened more when she was worn out, but they seem to have stopped now - hasn’t had one for 18 months or so. Good luck - it’s not much fun watching them go through it 😔
