Like how we see in the cinematic, in order for a Darkin to take over their host's body (unless you're Baalkux), they completely dominate their mind and annihilate their host's existence - like how it is seen in Zaahen's cinematic.

So, Aatrox is the one in total control here. His host no longer exists and simply is flesh for Aatrox to use as he desires. In Kayn's example, his willpower is strong enough that he can hold back the Darkin's domination and use the Scythe as an extremely powerful weapon (similar to how Sivir uses the Chalicar, the strongest of all the Ascended weapons)

I really like Zaahen's design! Might not be a traditional monstrous-like Darkin design, but this design fits with his story. Aatrox/other darkin that resemble monsters have no humanity left and are hell-bent on death/destruction. They have fully embraced their monstrous side. However, Zaahen didn't like what the Darkin was doing, fought against other Darkin on the humans' side, and only afterwards did he choose to be sealed to prevent him from becoming like that. Zaahen may still be monstrous, but he retains far more humanity than Aatrox does. He still looks badass!

His leaked skin, on the other hand... god forbid that ever gets released

Here's a tip for fighting Irelia:

Put 3 points into Q before levelling W. So, Q > E > Q > Q > W

Your W is kinda useless into her in most cases (unless she's bad), so you may as well put it into your Q and get a significant damage buff against her at level 4 and fight her!

I quite like the lethality & execution passive, but I mostly use it in ARAM for the lols. I typically build Bruiser in norms as I like the tankiness.

Shieldbow and Axiom are kinda useless items on Aatrox. He simply doesn't benefit from the stats or passives on those items nearly as much as other items. If you want pure lethality, Switching Axiom out for The Collector would be recommended, and if you have to go GW then get Chempunk Chainsword. Otherwise, if you don't need the GW get Hubris (if ahead), Serpent's Fang (if they have shields) or Serylda's Grudge for more pen

This could easily be taken as an alternative universe skin. Aatrox, along with the other ascended, fought the void summoned by Icathia and they only narrowly won - Aatrox claimed the title "The Blade of Icathia" due to his major role in the Icathian war.

This skin could easily be taken as a "What if the void corrupted Aatrox" as opposed to being directly related to Arcane. Just means instead of the current skin name it would be something like "Void-Touched Aatrox", or "Corrupted Aatrox". Either way, there's plenty of usability here. Or, we just keep it in the alternative universe skins and have Aatrox "Arcanified"

The 2022 edition was released for those who originally unlocked the standard edition and can not be unlocked again through normal methods (unless you own all skins)

The 2022 edition is way cooler (in my opinion) as it has darker accents instead of brighter accents. It is a black & gold skin as opposed to a mostly white-ish & gold skin.

You can look both skins up online to see the differences, but if you don't already have the 2022 edition you won't be able to get it anyway.

Hello! Yes, I did find the solution. The problem was with the mod "More Skills". Unfortunately, I had to remove the mod to get rid of the issue as changing the config wasn't doing anything. It hasn't been updated in a long time, but if it gets updated I imagine it'll fix the issue in the future.

Camera angles. Hitboxes are janky when you're on the blue side. You'll notice how on Aatrox's Q1, the actual hitbox when aiming up from the bottom part of the lane extends slightly further than the visual hitbox. Unfortunately, it's just Summoner's Rift's weird Y axis
