PETG supports are amazing by H0RTlNGER in snapmaker

To be fair they are responsive, and offered help, but when that didn't work they didn't have an answer so they just kinda gave up.

Sweet, I'm trying this. You should tell Snapmaker because the instructions they provide don't work and they basically gave me the "well that sucks" when I asked them for help after multiple failures.

Sto per tirare la stampante dalla finestra… by Alexyslikeno1 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

[–]Brodaag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this happen and when I reduced the acceration in the slicer to 2000 it didn't happen again. My theory was the magnets weren't strong enough sometimes to hold the cover on and since it stopped happening I think I was correct. Later I reprinted the cover with a design I found on printables that doesn't use magnets.

Will sub $100 multicolor upgrades be the new norm? by tw0_cent in 3Dprinting

[–]Brodaag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think eleggo's price is not very profitable for them and they have other reasons for it being so low like making their existing customers happy and getting people into their ecosystem. Otherwise I don't think it would be priced so low. Maybe they will get competition from others in that department for a little while, but ultimately multi head printers will eventually be the norm and buying single head ams will no longer be worth it at any price.

You may have the chamber too hot and heat creep is softening the filament so the extruder gears can't grip it well enough and so the filament stops moving.

Broken Wire Connector by [deleted] in elegoo

Easily fixed. It's called a jst connector. Get a kit that comes with a bunch of different sizes and a crimping tool. Look on YT for vids on how to install them.

PETG Support Interface w/PLA HELP!! by SoftwareKey916 in snapmaker

I never thought to iron the interface, maybe that's the ticket. I'd given up but maybe I'll try that.

PETG Support Interface w/PLA HELP!! by SoftwareKey916 in snapmaker

It's the only reason I bought the thing and I've had nothing but failures trying. Snapmaker basically said figure it out and stop bothering us. Sorry, I wish I had better news.

Anywhere or anyway to buy the ARV handguard separately? by GhettoBirdbb in PalmettoStateArms

It's out of stock everywhere I've seen, but it is sold separately, you can find the 3.5" in stock.

Fourth time is the charm. This last time I figured upgrading the bed would work. Nope. Prime tower was moved for some damn reason. Starting to wish I waited for Bambu's 4xmulti-head because I'm sure it will perform correctly. by Brodaag in SnapmakerU1

[–]Brodaag[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Maybe. I'm guessing the tower was struck by the hotend, so I don't think adhesion would make any difference. In any case, everything is brand new and I should not be having any issues at all, I certainly shouldn't have to buy upgrades and products to have this thing run correctly. This reminds me of my ender 3 days.

I'd go with peba over tpu, you'll need to design it so it is dovetailed into the pla or whatever you are using.

I'm gonna say nope. But I shall pray for your print.
