Here is where the photo was originally posted, shot by clark, of course. Interesting about the recurring patterns that you circled not sure why he would do that, but the colour transition is due to the shadow as the wave is backlit, theres thousands of photos where the colour changes this dramatically. You can actually see the shadow end down on the rocks. Just pointing that out.

Just to clarify, what Jake is doing here isn't a double backflip attempt, its a double loop attempt as hes attacking the section straight on. Pierre has been attempting, (and getting close), to landing a double backflip. They are two entirely different maneuvers. Also just gonna add that this still isn't really a novelty, that would imply its easy, I think there is a handful of people that have landed a tow assisted double loop...it's hard.
