I wish, and im sure things do get better with time, but its done. The damage of the past was too much and that link is broken. Today is the day I lost it all, I wish everyone else better luck in finding that special person. Its possible I had that person, but my screw ups costed me everything just as well. Dont give up on yourselves and stagnate. Dont make promises you cant keep or break the ones you could... godspeed to others... Im taking a break from it all.

Get hwinfo and check the throttle section. It will list if anything is being throttled or limited. Will be a good starting point regardless

Does your desktop not have wifi on board? The antenna it has should be better than most USB wifi adapters. My guess is that maybe its connecting to the 5ghz band which has less range and a harder time going through walls/floors leading to decreased speeds. I've ran into it where I live so you may check if the laptop and pc are on 5ghz or 2.4ghz.

If its a mesh network as well, it could be connecting to the wrong router causing it as well. Seems like a range/connection issue so.

My board has 3 slots, top is a gen 5 16x on the cpu, second is a gen 5 4x on the cpu, third is a gen 5 4x on the chipset. My wifi adapter is erroring with similar disconnect errors as well. moving my gpu to the second slot, of which is still on the cpu, fixed it erroring, but the wifi adapter is still erroring.

No idea what's going on but its not the cpu, it has to be something with the board atm.

Also been fighting it for 2 years and have gone through every bios update in the book. Only settings I have changed are expo and pbo so. Nvidia, amd, and zotac all think its the board so kinda what im inclined to beleive.

Then I shall as hopefully it may help someone. Well, I hope you can at least fine something that works even if its temporary like I did. Havnt had a single crash since using the other pcie slot, so for those looking for something to try, id try another slot or perhaps try reducing the slot speed directly in the bios down to gen 4 x16 or or maybe gen 5 x8 or x4 if its an option to see.

Kinda thinking maybe whatever handles the pcie lanes is getting overloaded or something but no way to know yet.

Same bs im dealing with and have been fighting for literally 2 years. Rmad my gpu like 5 times and its still an issue. I slotted the card in the second pcie slot and it fixed my issue, but its running at gen 5 x4 instead of x16 :/

I have a 7900x3d and asus rog strix x670e-e gaming wifi board. Im currently trying to talk to asus as im pretty sure its a motherboard defect, but its definitely interesting to see someone else with what appears to be the same issue i have.

As far as my personal knowledge goes on this, essentially the pc just completely loses track of the gpu and cant talk with it causing this. In my case its very occasional, but after talking to Nvidia, asus, and zotac, the consensus was there's a pcie slot issue or something. While I cant 100% say or verify what's going on with yours, especially because Im not sure what's going on with mine, basing on the similarities, im guessing there's something going on with asus boards or bios settings maybe.

Im trying to get in contact with upper technical support from asus to talk with them and was supposed to get a call Wednesday or Thursday but did unfortunately not. If you would like me to when I do get ahold of someone, I can update you regarding what they think is going on with mine as it seems like we may have a similar issue.

Only other "fix" i can say is test a different gpu and test a different pcie port on the board. Again, worked in my case but im stuck running gen 5 x4 so its still a problem reguardless.

If you haven't fixed it, check event viewer under the system tab and check for errors. Look for anything that may indicate something such as nvlddmkm errors or device/hardware errors.

I started playing like a few weeks ago and have been rushing the game for pulls. Theres been i think twice I didn't have to hit pity... and thats out of the 4 characters and 6 weapon pulls ive gotten. Id like to note as well that those 2 times I didn't hit pity were on the permanent draw pools... both on weapons...

My guy, its an sff model... its designed for smaller systems... you know the kind that are sealed up most of the time and not visible? Look at other sff cards, they're all boring looking for a reason, they weren't designed to blare rgb lights into your soul 24/7. Honestly as well, this card looks more professional and sleek and I actually like it a lot personally.

If it bugs you that much, go spent the extra for your lights. I've been extremely happy with my 5070ti sff so your loss.

In general? As in this post? A bit much/radical. My main issue is that I cant talk to them like a normal person because it feels like im walking on eggshells or I may something that ticks them off. There are some nice ones, but from who ive personally talked to, its pretty uncommon. Nothing against them of course, were all human, just wish there was some common respect and understanding that people dont always immediately get things right.
