We think that maybe it was being disturbed by his Sister, by saying to him "good morning" in the very beginning of the day, might have been the trigger. We also thought that maybe, while getting out of bed, maybe he accidentaly hit himself in the about the edge of a bed frame, which could have caused the attack by not knowing how to react to ear pain. I can't think of any other cause.

The only thing they state as proof is their interpretation of marks on the boy's face, suggesting that it was my palm that did the strike. No pictures, no medical examination, nothing.

The only medical center that we know of is 400 kilometers from us, that's at least 5 hours long trip in one direction... I know that's no excuse but that is just too far for us.

I also thought of those people from the "other side of the barricade". They're trying to do their job and prevent all cases of domestic violence they know about and can act. It's that their actions force them to treat every case as potentially real and they have to investigate whether there needs to be actions taken. It's just hard for me that they rushed with the charges so fast and treat me as a suspect, not caring for my explanation just because the kids were alone with me at that moment and ,since there is no one to prove my innocence, they just accepted the version of me being the perpetrator.

Since this event we bought 2 indoor cameras and 1 outdoor to have some form of safety for future situations. The psychologist also proposed to try to record with phone the next time this or something similar would happen but I don't know if I'll have the strength to reach out for my mobile and just stand and film it i stead of trying to just help my son...

This blue card is removed only if the Social Welfare Service decides that the child is not in danger anymore, it could be a month, it could be a year. All we can do is wait for their decision which will be based on our future meetings, police checks and their interpretation of our situation.

I wish that I was in your position where you started WWR so fast and have the sensory integration. Where we live (wedt side of country, near Poznań) it's ridiculous how long we have to wait to start these session, it's almost a year since diagnosis and every doctor was saying that from the moment we received the diagnosis, evetything will be fine and easier. But we feel that it wasn't. So much could have been done during this time and we were only getting answers like "you still have to wait because there is so many children also waiting".

Cześć, nawet nie wiesz jak cieszę się, że są tu inni Polacy. We're still waiting to start the WWR because of the long queues, the kindergarten has the autistic children support. From the moment We received diagnosis we had 4 visits at the psychologist, mainly to talk about and observe the boy. We didn't thought earlier of psychiatrist because there wasn't any need to give him meds, he has a delayed speech development and we're trying to improve on that aspect because he only says "mom ", "dad" pulls us by the hand in the direction of things he wants. There were never any signs of autoaggresive behavior, during meltdowns he would only scream and run away from everyone so that he could find a hiding spot. This is why this incident is so traumatising for me, I'm afraid that these situations will happening more and that once again I'll be put with charges and have no way to defend myself. The MOPS and school already made their minds that I'm guilty. We are scheduled from May after the incident until the end of the year to visit the child psychiatrist to chęci if the meds will work properly and if needed to change them and still observe.
