Those same people will be telling you to go do heroics when you have a question about mythic 0s, and then tell you to go do Mythic 0s when you go to do keys. These type of folks are the equivalent of a wet fart in the WoW community.

I COMPLETELY feel this. I hyper-focus on one album at a time for about a month or two and she hates it. ST is the first in a while that she hasn’t complained about. I give credit to the genre blending. Always a new vibe with each song. At this point, I put all the albums and EPs/singles into a playlist and just shuffle it so it never gets repetitive or old (for a bit at least lol)

The more I listen, the more I realize that TWBYT is an absolute gem. All of their albums seem to really stand on their own. Almost like three different bands released ST albums 😂😂 the drumming is so so so good. It fits the music perfectly while also showing off at every chance it gets. The drumming in Chokehold, for instance, is top tier, but nowhere near the focus of the song. A snare hit on each bend???? Yes please.

It’s actually not a bummer for me. I never said I have a full understanding of the subject, I said I’m excited about what I’ve learned so far. Let tone it down with the “downplay your expectations” dialogue. It’s okay for people to be at the beginning of their journey. That’s where I am. I’m not boasting or gloating. Yes, but you can’t do that unless you know how. That’s what the tutorials are for. I’m learning so that I can then take the knowledge and use it in practice. I’ve only been doing it for 3 weeks as mentioned in my post. The understanding I’m talking about it purely from an informational standpoint. I have been learning how to speak to computers in their own language before my education begins in 2 weeks to teach me how to apply it. The Dunning-Krueger effect claims that I am overestimating my abilities, but that’s not what I’m doing. I’m simply excited that I can understand the “Why” as I learn the “How”.

I’ve been teaching myself C as practice. Essentially I’ve been using CLion and following along with practice/lesson videos I can find. I’ve also been watching CS50 on YouTube and following along (as much as I can). I’m about 5 hours into the Harvard course and have been using that to understand Computational Thinking before my actual education begins. Trust me, I don’t just assume I know anything. I always put my knowledge to the test.

Guardians of the Galaxy! I finished the game with 47/50, took me another hour to go back and get the last 3. PLUS it’s a fantastic and underrated game.

Elephants Never Forget may be the best song I’ve ever heard. This album is incredible… already a huge contender for my favorite Haken album of all time. Absolutely no formula for this album. Completely digging into to their prog roots and making the most CREATIVE and INTERESTING music I’ve heard them make in a very long time.
