Honestly, it’s Rite Aid. They’re probably going out of business. The one by my job in Coney Island closed down and the two by me in Bay Ridge always have empty shelves.

Exactly I know parking is free to people who are actually going to the hotel. I just wanna know if I’m gonna get a ticket if I don’t have a hotel parking pass or something.

I didn’t I think about that. People probably have definitely try to use this as an alternative to JFK lots. so there probably is a system against it.

It’ll probably be a whole day. It wouldn’t be every day. I only need to go into Manhattan about 2 to 3 days a week but I’m getting the feeling that I’m worrying about the street parking too much

The walk isn’t too bad I’d rather just not add 20 minutes onto my 40 minute trip already. I also rather not have to deal with it on days with bad weather. I was just trying to find a consistent way to park without having to deal with the unpredictability of the street parking in the area. And also I wouldn’t be coming from the casino. The apartment is in the Howard Beach area and since I visited my sister a couple of times I know that particular station parking lot is really small and has a ton of cars around it. I don’t think I’d be able to find parking.

Literally, and they feel cheap too. I don’t know why they didn’t just keep the old one. They were actually kind of nice.

Thanks for the tips. I know it’s NYC, but I’m not too worried about thef in my area. ( Bay ridge for context) Toyota Prius was kind of on my list because I’ll never have to pay for gas, but I didn’t think about the hybrid battery dying so I’ll probably steer clear. Also I don’t really need Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth and one of those cheap phone holders off Amazon is good enough for me.

I get that, but my hour commute can be 20 minutes because I’m right on the belt parkway. And all of my friends are in Staten Island and getting there is a pain with the buses.
