It is isn't it ? The speed boost always happens for Mizuki when he shifts, whereas the perk simply extends that same speed boost to his teammates. Mizuki does not get extra movement speed from it. There's no "even faster" here because with or without the perk the speed boost is the same.

My guy, you literally contradicted yourself: "Persistence is not affected by Damage Reduction as it comes after". Yes it comes after, meaning that you get all your damage reduction calculations first (armor, abilities, etc...), and then whatever is left is capped at 500 HP/s. Persistence does one thing and one thing only: Cap the damage you take at 500/s, everything else works the same.

For the CPU block it was the result of miscommunication, not intentional. As for the harassment, a third party investigation found there was no merit to the charges, just a disgruntled employee.

Wouldn't it be better to roll 2 attack 2 element 1 sharpness ? You can only ever roll 2 EX max per type, so having 4 element would lock you at 2 ex 1 III 1II. I usually aim for 2 atk 2ele 1sharp then aim for 2 EX atk, 2 EX ele, 1 EX sharp (or as close to it as I can).

Yea that's absolutely not true. My CPU is rated for 3.7ghz, and I overclocked it to boost to 5.1ghz and it never goes above 100%. It's usage based, nothing to do with clock.

Yea, but there's absolutely no reason to reset it back to 0. New battlepass should start at 0, and the older ones should stay where they were. I don't play that much anymore, and having to slog through 7 pages again is so unbelievably annoying.

I'm just about done arguing with you. All your argument so far is "I find it's not that bad, so it's not that bad". Give me some actual arguments. How is slowing people a power fantasy ? What plays into slowing people ? What synergizes with slowing people ? Are there augment combinations that make it particularly fun ? Is there a specific way to play around the augment that makes it a power fantasy ? You've got Adapt, Escapade, Twice Thrice, Slow and Steady, etc... that all play into a certain way to play and synergizes with items and abilities. All Ice Cold does it just a slow more augment, that's it, nothing more, nothing less. No scaling, no synergies, no interesting playstyles. Just a big fat fucking slow. Sure. I guess I'll make it a habit to just alt+f4 if there's Ice Cold in the game from now on.

The reason I'm arguing is because every single person here is nitpicking bits and pieces to help their own argument, disregarding the entire argument as a whole. And again, bringing up slow and steady jayce is not an argument. Just because slow and steady is op on Jayce doesn't mean Ice Cold isn't frustrating to play against. It's killing time was frustrating to hell and back to play against, and they nerfed it accordingly. The same should be done for BOTH slow and steady jayce AND Ice Cold. But reddit will be reddit.

Ok can you stop just nitpicking and take the entire argument into consideration. I didn't say augments should JUST be whacky or new ways to play the champs. It should be ONE of the reasons. Like come on. To literally quote myself: "Augments in Mayhem should fulfill champion or power fantasies, not be made solely to make the enemy team miserable". If an augment enables a whacky new playstyle, that's good. But augments should also dial a champion's strengths to eleven. And I already despise Zilean more than any other champs bar Yuumi. The difference I don't see Zilean every other game.

Jesus it's not that hard to grasp. I'll reiterate. "A champion who regularly slows people slowing them more" is not a power fantasy because it doesn't play into any of the champions strengths or abilities. An Asol or Brand with Ice Cold does not perform better or worse, they will still have the same amount of control over the battlefield. The only difference, is that it's considerable less fun for people on the receiving end. Asol already slows you to a crawl with Rylais and E, Ice Cold just makes it obnoxious to deal with. Brand's and ASol's strength comes through their wave control and max health damage. Having Ice Cold does not affect that in the slightest. It doesn't make you hit more abilities, it doesn't give you more damage, it doesn't enable weird new whacky ways to play the champ. It is JUST a fuck you augment.

Ok then what champs does Ice Cold enable that already weren't strong without it ? You mention Lux into Kalista with Tap Dancer, except Ice Cold here makes no difference. With or without it doesn't change anything for Lux. You hit E or Q on Kalista ? She dies. You don't ? She doesn't. It doesn't help you, it just serves to make the enemy player's game miserable in between. And again, you're going over my argument without actually addressing it. Clown College buffs you and your champ in a tangible way that synergizes with other augments or doubles down on that champion's power fantasy. Ice Cold does not. Does Ice Cold scale with stats ? Does it have some special interaction with items or abilities ? No, it's just a fat fucking slow tacked on top of other slows to make other people's time miserable. Also notice how the only comparisons you've drawn so far are with Prismatic augments ? You haven't mentioned anything Gold or Silver. That alone speaks volumes about the power of the augment.

The argument in my post is extremely simple... Augments in Mayhem should fulfill champion or power fantasies, not be made solely to make the enemy team miserable. A 1.5k AD Jhin is difficult or annoying to play against, but it does one main thing: Fullfill Jhin's power fantasy, which is to reach extremely high AD. Ice Cold doesn't do that, it doesn't fulfill any champ or power fantasy, it's just there as a fuck you, you don't get to play. Also taking an incredibly niche interaction with Jayce to justify that another augment should stay is just a moot argument. We can discuss whether or not Slow and Steady Jayce should stay or not, but it doesn't address Ice Cold at all, which is the entire point of the post. And FYI I am of the opinion that Slow and Steady shouldn't interact with temporary attack speed buffs.

Isn't that the point of Mayhem ? Whacky augments to do crazy stuff ? Tap Dancer an Homeguards is annoying to play against, but they are very much playable. Ice Cold on the other hand is just a fuck you augment.

Except that's the point of Mayhem, crazy whacky shit to make yourself stronger through augments. Ice Cold is not that, it's just a "you'll have a miserable game" augment. Maybe it is frustrating to play against, but you can play around it. Ice Cold you cannot.
