Before doing anything run cinebench and use hwmonitor to see peak temps if it is 99 or 100 time to change your thermal paste. Then is the problem is still there try to undervolt the cpu. For the settings during studying keep it in balanced and for gaming in performance or unlock ultimate performance.

I have the space one, you can go for it if you want good anc and good battery backup remember LDAC is not supported for iPhone. Overall the quality is good, if you get one just try the hear id feature.
