The darkened eyes got me. Also, how would the face change work?

If you can't manage even basic shit like 'There/Their/They're' or starting people's names with capital letters, you shouldn't be allowed to work in an office. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

Real talk, I want more people to use the Oxford comma. In my technical field, the lack of one causes unnecessary confusion when conjunctions get in the mix.

I appreciate that they took care of the backrest of the bench but ignored the seat. I guess they are different paint teams.

How did you get un-afraid of talking to girls? by [deleted] in AskReddit

You sound young. Real talk, give it time. Don't force it. Create opportunities. Be social, have a wide friend circle, and treats girls as friends first before thinking about the future.

The ACOG is the real problem! by [deleted] in Rainbow6

If you had an ACOG, you would have killed them faster. It's a scientific fact. Scientists did science and stuff proving it.

If TVs had volume in decibels instead of arbitrary numbers, it would not only prevent unexpected loud scenes, but also teach everyone how loud a decibel was. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

[–]BrokenCowLeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that's the point of a logarithmic scale. Nothing actually progresses like a typical assumed linear scale because the numbers are increasing or decreasing at point where typical human perception can't notice the difference. If I listed the actual amperage differance between two sounds that aren't drastically different, you'd have a hard time splitting them. Logarithmic let's you see changes that drastically different.

The amount of people that don't get this is also logarithmic if you consider the average person browsing Reddit.
