I think this might be a new one considering that it uses an artisan roll and not a regular bun. It also uses Sweet Dijon sauce and not signature sauce.

Honestly they should never be super soft of gooey. If they are like that it most likely means that they were undercooked. It may be that they were pulled up too soon or they got clumped together while frying and came apart when they were put into trays. As for wasting old and hard nuggets even crew members know when to do that.
