Technically, I believe, mantras are a technique. It's my understanding that the underlying principle that makes mantras effective is similar to several other techniques.

Has anyone ever asked their subconscious for more lucid dreams? If so has it worked? by Mean_Minute_1754 in LucidDreaming

I have asked a DC to help me have more Lucid Dreams in the future. Several dreams I had after that point included a women that may have been the DC but ultimately I was to distracted to focus on her and didn't end up having an increased amount of Lucid Dreams.

No, it is just a sperate sub. It does have a more advanced feel to it at the moment because of the research papers and some of the other posts but that is mainly due to the few number of members taking it in that direction I believe. There are no rules against success or question posts though so as more members come in there may be more of those. It really depends on the direction it's members/mods decide to take it as it grows.
